Professor Sung In Lim from Department of Chemical Engineering, Pukyong National University is looking for one master student who has interest in protein engineering to develop protein-based drugs or drug delivery system, molecular biology, pharmacology, and basic immunology.
This two years master's degree program will be start from September 2019 (Fall Semester) with financial assistance.
Requirements :
β’ Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
β’ Strong knowledge in the recombinant technology including molecular cloning, microbial cell culture, protein expression/purification, and analysis.
β’ Technical writing and communication skills in English.
The selected candidates must be able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced and hands-on laboratory environment.

Jun Sheng will join the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California Riverside (UCR) as an assistant professor in Fall 2019. He is seeking highly motivated graduate students. His research interests include surgical robotics, medical devices, smart actuation and sensing, and additive manufacturing. These techniques can be applied for the treatment of a variety of diseases, such as brain tumor, mitral regurgitation, lung cancer, peripheral artery disease, etc. His current profile can be found on https://robomed.gatech.edu/people/.
The prospective students are expected to have strong interests and/or backgrounds in mechanical design, mechanics, and control. Students with degrees in mechanical engineering, electric engineering, or biomedical engineering are encouraged to apply. For the Ph.D. program, a masterβs degree is preferred but not required, and the minimum requirement of GRE is 150 (V) + 165 (Q) + 3 (AW). The Ph.D. students will be fully funded with fellowships or assistantships that can cover tuition, living expenses, and medical insurance.
