🇮🇷 Iranians, "Islamic" resistance journalists and activists normalizing and accepting a sin in favor of polishing the reputation of their politics/state/parties in front of the Islamophobes and rejectors of Islamic obligations...

When Islamic principles become selective for a political gain and social media approval

She came to visit Iran without hijab and now suddenly many Iranians and journalists are so happy and using her case to prove themselves for the Islamophobes (kuffar) that they are not "extremists", contrary of what israeli and American media says.

First of all, what you are celebrating and taking pride of, enjoying and normalizing, is a sin. Remember, the state itself did not invent the hijab, rather it is an order from Allah Almighty Himself, modesty and chastity is what Islam orders. For you to be selective with Islamic obligations where it suits you and gives you the benefits of sweeter reputation, especially in front of kuffar, while still applying the standards on other women is hypocrisy. Either you get rid of the hijab and its applications or say that yes, you are extremists who force hijab because Islamic obligations matter and the opinions of kuffar are worthless, they can say whatever.

Why her case was an exception? Because she is a famous political person and she can promote the state in a more accepting way, at the cost of self contradictions... At the same time, Iranians themselves have to wear it, although it is not on Iranians but all Muslims, it is an obligation, but look at it how it is a contradiction in various aspects, nationally in terms of law, Islamically in terms of ruling. Why this outsider gets a pass while others don't? And how come Islam switches on and off where it brings social media benefit by polishing the reputation? Either all wear it or none, Islam is against favoritism based on status and wealth, Islam came to get rid of such phenomenon and it is meant to establish justice and fairness.

For you to defy such order, Islamic and national, to please Islamophobes so they do not call you terrorist or extremist? Are you this ashamed of your religion that you are wary depending on their criticism? You normalize sins here and begin demanding total Islamic principles there?! Suddenly no hijab became acceptable as long as the person shares similar political positions?

This isn't a surprise, this woman showed even bigger disrespect when she showed up to speak about the Arbaeen even without hijab and full make up on, this is while you claim your principles to be Husseini and your method is Karbala'i, this of course was done with the help and approval of Press TV, it is Press TV who chose her to represent Shiaism in such important interview, to speak about Imam Hussein (as), do we not have any other women other than her?! People have to study in Hawza for years, read tens of books, so they can get on the minbar and speak about the Imam and commemorate his holy and noble cause, then you throw it away and bring a non hijabi woman with makeup?! It's surprising how none even brought this up, none of the so called people of resistance and people of Husseini "revolution", none cared, because of shared political positions and it is Press TV, so they gained immunity from criticism at the cost of accepting and tolerating disrespect to Imam Hussein (as)!! How is this not disrespectful? Husseini principles here, Yazidi principles there, not even an exaggeration...

Same woman, expresses her joy when Syria got taken over by ISIS and said "may Syria prosper under this banner of justice", justice of Yazid?!

You claim you have Husseini principles?! Once you walk with Husseini banners and slogans, then allow Yazidi banners and actions as long as they do not interfere with your politics? Selective on the obligation of hijab, you want it to be applied on the locals, and say it is not a state law, rather it is Islamic, then switch off this application because a person is famous and can make you appear sweet and friendly?

Imam Ali (peace be upon him):

In the end times and as the Hour approaches, which is the worst of all times, there will appear women who are uncovered and naked, stripped away from religion, drawn into tribulations, inclined toward desires, rushing toward pleasures, making the forbidden lawful. They will abide forever in Hell.

النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله): "من رأى منكم منكرا فليغيره بيده، فإن لم يستطع فبلسانه، فإن لم يستطع فبقلبه وذلك أضعف الإيمان."

But if they do not do that, blessings will be taken away from them, some of them will be set over others, and they will have no supporter on the earth nor in the heaven.”

Abu Bakr and Umar Try to Exhume the Grave of Sayyeda Fatimah al-Zahra, and the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon them) Teaches them a Lesson!

Muhammad ibn Hammam said: It is narrated that she passed away with ten days remaining in Jumada al-Akhirah, and her age at the time of her passing was eighteen years and eighty-five days after the death of her father. The Commander of the Faithful washed her body, and no one was present except him, al-Hasan, al-Husayn, Zaynab, Umm Kulthum, her servant Fiddah, and Asma bint Umays. He took her out to al-Baqi at night along with al-Hasan and al-Husayn, prayed over her, and no one else knew of it. No one among the rest of the people attended her death or prayed over her except them. He buried her in al-Rawdah, and the location of her grave was concealed.

The next morning, al-Baqi contained forty new graves. When the Muslims learned of her death, they came to al-Baqi and found forty graves, and her grave was indistinguishable from the others. The people cried out and blamed one another, saying: Your Prophet left among you only one daughter, she dies and is buried and you did not attend her death or the prayer over her, nor do you know her grave.

Then Umar and Abu Bakr and those with them said: Bring women from among the Muslims to dig up these graves until we find her so that we may pray over her and visit her grave. When this reached the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, he came out angry, his eyes red and his neck veins swollen. He was wearing his yellow cloak which he wore in every hardship, and he was leaning on his sword Dhu al-Fiqar, until he reached al-Baqi. A caller went ahead to the people and said: This is Ali ibn Abi Talib coming as you see him, swearing by Allah that if a stone from these graves is moved he will place the sword upon the last of them.

Umar and his companions met him and said: What is the matter, O Abu al-Hasan? By Allah, we will dig up her grave and we will pray over her. Ali seized him by the front of his garment and shook him, then threw him to the ground and said: O son of the black woman, as for my right, I left it for fear that people would turn away from their religion. But as for the grave of Fatimah, by the One in whose hand is the soul of Ali, if you and your companions attempt anything of that, I will water the earth with your blood. If you wish, then turn away, O Umar.

Abu Bakr met him and said: O Abu al-Hasan, by the right of the Messenger of Allah and by the right of the One above the Throne, let him go, for we will not do anything you dislike. So he released him, and the people dispersed and did not return to that matter.

Congratulations on the Arrival of the Blessed Month of Ramadan 1447

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the most noble of prophets and messengers, the Seal of the Prophets, Mohammad, and upon his good, pure family, and perpetual curse upon all their enemies from the first to the last.

On Abi Ja'far (peace be upon him) he said: “Do not say: ‘This is Ramadan,’ nor ‘Ramadan has gone,’ nor ‘Ramadan has come.’ For Ramadan is one of the Names of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic; He neither comes nor goes. Rather, that which comes and goes is transient. Instead, say: ‘The month of Ramadan,’ for the month is annexed to the Name, and the Name is the Name of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. It is the month in which the Qur’an was revealed; He made it an example and a warning.”

We congratulate the Shia believers of men and women on the occasion of the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, the month of worship, obedience, purifying the soul, drawing closer to Allah Almighty.

As believers and awaitors of the Imam of our time, al-Hujja ibn al-Hasan al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his return), our goal during this month should go beyond merely fasting until the month ends. It is not just a month to abstain from food and drink until sunset, but a month of discipline, self-restraint and to renew our commitment to purify our souls, to restrain from sin, do good, increase the mention of Allah, His Prophet and the family of the Prophet (peace be upon them), to be just and sincere, in our worships and in our actions and how we treat others. In this month, we should strive to emerge from it better than we were in its first day, to have a spiritual growth that continues even when the blessed month of Ramadan is over, as we remain consistent in our worship and closeness to Allah and doing good.

Ramadan Mubarak. We thank Allah Almighty for allowing us to reach this blessed month in good health and well-being. We ask Allah to make this month an opportunity for sincere repentance for those striving in His obedience and we also ask Him for guidance and steadfastness in His religion and to accept our fasting and good deeds.

We ask Allah the Exalted to hasten the appearance of the Master of the Affair and the Time, Abu al-Qasim Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Mahdi, may our souls be sacrificed for him. And do not forget us in your sincere prayers, perhaps you are nearer in rank to Allah, and conclude it with prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

🇮🇶🇮🇶 A Kurdish program in Iraq broadcast a recitation of the Holy Qur’an by an unveiled woman on the first day of the month of Ramadan

When immodesty and indecency are normalized in the name of Islam

The Kurdish program “Basheef” brought a Qur’an recitation on the first day of Ramadan by “Samira Karzan,” brought a woman in immodesty and make up.

Although a woman’s voice is considered by the Nasiba to be awrah, the head of the Union of Islamic Religious Scholars in Kurdistan, Abdullah Saeed Waisi, considered reciting the Qur’an aloud by women to be permissible and allowed. He is joined in this opinion by Abdul Latif Ahmad, one of the most prominent Salafi leaders in Kurdistan, who considers it permissible on the condition that the recitation is not done with “coquetry or softness.”

From time to time, phenomena emerge of sexifying the religion and making it conform to personal desires, and the hijab and abaya have become meaningless and merely names.

Even though they are Nasiba, these phenomena are spreading today in the name of Islam under the pretext of “Qur’an recitation” and “worship is for Allahh and it is for everyone.” Gradually, these forms and models spread and infiltrate, and immodesty becomes normalized in another way and with a religious character. Today, social media platforms are filled with unveiled women in the name of religion and in the name of Husseini rituals... Especially since the Husseini rituals are meant to show grief and sorrow over the tragedy and to commemorate Imam Hussein, the Master of Martyrs, peace be upon him, yet his name and the rituals are being exploited by degenerate women who appear in the name of Shiism, and this is accepted by immoral degenerate women and pseudo-men.

Behind all of this is nothing but obscenity and wrongdoing, and hiding behind a religious character to ward off any criticism. And whoever does not object to these phenomena of introducing immodesty into religion and protecting it under the pretext of worship and devotion is a religious cuckold who is accursed.

Three Beneficial Surahs for Salvation from the Squeezing of the Grave

It was narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) that he said: "The squeezing of the grave for the believer is an expiation for what he had of neglecting blessings"

The believer who prays and fasts and others… will have the squeezing of the grave!! But for whom? For the one who wastes blessings.. The blessings may be wealth which he wasted in other than its proper place.. The blessings may be abundance of time which he wasted in other than its proper place… And this is the squeezing of the grave for the believer who wastes blessings… And this is what necessitates attention and concern!

We ask Allah the Exalted to protect us from the punishment of the grave and to lighten for us the loneliness of the grave..

Here are three surahs for salvation from the squeezing of the grave by the permission of Allah the Exalted:

1. Surah Az-Zukhruf

It is reported in the narration: Whoever persists in reciting Ha Mim Az-Zukhruf, Allah will grant him safety in his grave from the vermin of the earth and the squeezing of the grave.

2. Surah Nun and Al-Qalam in prayer

It is reported from Imam As-Sadiq (peace be upon him): Whoever recites Surah Nun and Al-Qalam in an obligatory prayer or voluntary prayer, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will protect him from being afflicted with poverty ever, and Allah will protect him, when he dies, from the squeezing of the grave.

3. Surah At-Takathur at sleep

It is reported from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family): Whoever recites Alhakum At-Takathur at sleep, he will be protected from the trial of the grave.

Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) are the bearers of the Qur’an, and the reward of the Qur’an is only for the one who befriends Ali and disassociates himself from his enemies (Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Aisha, Muawiya, Hafsa)

From the chapter of the Virtues of the Quran - Part I

Imam Hasan al-Askari: My father told me, from his father Muhammad ibn Ali, from his father Ali ibn Musa, from his father Musa ibn Ja‘far, from his father Ja‘far ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq, from his father Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir, from his father Ali ibn al-Husayn Zayn al-Abidin, from his father al-Husayn ibn Ali, the master of the martyrs, from his father the Commander of the Faithful, the leader of the successors and the successor of the Messenger of the Lord of the worlds, the distinguisher of this nation, the gate of the city of wisdom, the trustee of the Messenger of mercy, Ali ibn Abi Talib, from the Messenger of the Lord of the worlds, the master of the messengers, the leader of the radiant ones marked for ablution, the one distinguished with the noblest intercessions on the Day of Judgment, peace and blessings be upon him and his family altogether, who said:

The bearers of the Qur’an are those singled out by the mercy of Allah, clothed in the light of Allah, the teachers of the speech of Allah, those brought near to Allah. Whoever befriends them has befriended Allah, and whoever opposes them has opposed Allah. Allah repels from the listener of the Qur’an the afflictions of this world, and from its reciter the afflictions of the Hereafter.

By Him in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the reward of one who listens to a verse from the Book of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, while believing that the one who conveys it to him from Allah, the Exalted, is Muhammad, truthful in all his sayings, wise in all his actions, and that the one entrusted with what Allah has entrusted of His knowledge is the Commander of the Faithful Ali, peace be upon him, and who believes in submitting to him in what he commands and prescribes, is greater than Mount Thabir [a mountain between Mecca and Mina], turned into gold and given in charity by one who does not hold these beliefs. Rather, his charity will be a burden upon him.

And for one who recites a verse from the Book of Allah while believing in these matters, it is better than all that is beneath the Throne down to the lowest depths being given in charity by one who does not hold this belief. Rather, all of that will be a burden upon the one who gives it in charity.

Among the Deeds, Surahs, Supplications, and Remembrances Recommended [Mustahab] at Iftar and Suhoor

1. The recommendation and reward of reciting Surah al-Qadr at iftar and suhoor

It is narrated from Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him): "Whoever recites Surah al-Qadr at the time of suhoor and iftar, then dies between them, then for him is the reward of one who was martyred in the way of Allah, covered in his blood."

2. The recommendation of taking suhoor with anything even if it is a sip of water

And the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said: "Take suhoor even if with a sip of water. Indeed the blessings of Allah are upon those who take suhoor."

3. From the supplication of the Messenger at iftar

And it is narrated from the Noble Messenger (peace be upon him and his family): "There is no servant who fasts and says at iftar: O Great, O Great, You are my God, there is no deity for me other than You, forgive me the great sin, indeed none forgives the great sin except the Great. Except that he comes out from his sins like the day his mother gave birth to him."

4. The supplication is answered at iftar

And from Imam al-Rida (peace be upon him): "For every fasting person at iftar there is an answered supplication, so let him say in the first morsel: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, O Vast in forgiveness, forgive me."

And it is said that the intention for fasting after suhoor is better, and the intention is also possible from the beginning of the night until its end, and it is sufficient in the intention that he knows and intends to fast the next day seeking nearness to Allah the Exalted.

As for the etiquettes of iftar, it is recommended that he pray Maghrib first, then break his fast after that, unless there is a group waiting for him or hunger or thirst overcomes him and prevents the presence of his heart in the prayer, then in this case it is preferred to give precedence to iftar. And it is recommended at iftar to recite Surah al-Qadr as you have learned.

And in reliable narrations it is that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) used to break his fast with dates and water or fresh dates [rutab].

The author Muhammad Jabir reported in his book the titles of our Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him) and said about him:

His titles are: al-Taqi, al-Murtada, and al-Qani‘. He is the ninth Imam, one who speaks with correctness, characterized by guidance and beneficial knowledge, whose virtue is widespread among people; the firm and trustworthy one; the heir of the Prophets; the chosen essence of the Lord of the worlds; great in knowledge and forbearance; possessing eloquent speech, clarity, and articulation; abundant in generosity; brilliant in intellect; whose narrations are among the highest and whose merits are among the greatest and most elevated.

1. al-Jawad (The Generous) – He was given this title because of the abundance of goodness, charity, and kindness he bestowed upon people.

2. al-Taqi (The Pious / The God-Fearing) – He was given this title because he was mindful of Allah, turned to Him, and held firmly to Him. He did not respond to any call of desire. What is Jihad Tabyeen [Clarification Jihad]? And is it a Bid'a [Innovation]?

Clarification Jihad is the Remembrance of Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) because there is no truth other than them!

First, know that the term “clarificatory jihad” is a newly invented term, but the concept of this term is not new. What is meant by it is describing the role in confronting falsehood and tyrants by speaking the word of truth, and to distinguish this jihad from field jihad related to wars. Remember that the clarificatory jihad of Sayyeda Zainab (AS) is not something she invented. Rather, it is the first and foundational approach of all prophets and messengers and even the Imams (AS) in confronting arrogance and tyranny to support the religion and to manifest the truth through proof and clarification. It is also an approach based on enjoining good and forbidding evil. The prophets enjoined good in obedience to Allah and forbade the evil of tyrants and misguidance.

Second, know that Sayyeda Zainab (AS) was not a lone individual initiative by herself. Rather, her effort and her standing to establish the proof in her sermons were a direct extension of the role of the Imam of her time, Imam al-Sajjad (AS), and he is the one who affirmed that for her! Thus, she proceeded upon parallel teachings with the approval of the Imam.

From the mission of the prophets and messengers, clarification was the primary jihad: {We have certainly sent Our messengers with clear proofs.} Then this approach continued to her grandfather, the Messenger of Allah (SAWA), and was established after him with her father Imam Ali (AS). Upon this prophetic and educational extension, Sayyeda Zainab (AS) proceeded. Her jihad was in clarification, and her approach was an extension of the missions of her two brothers al-Hassan and al-Hussein (AS), which returns to her father Imam Ali (AS), which returns to the Messenger of Allah Muhammad (SAWA), with the same valor, courage, zeal, honor, and sincerity in supporting the religion. Thus, her clarification was like the clarification of Muhammad, like the clarification of Ali, and like the clarification of al-Hassan and al-Hussein (AS).

“So plot your plot, strive with your effort, and exert your utmost, for by Allah you will not erase our remembrance, nor will you cause our revelation to die, nor will you wash away its shame from yourself. Your opinion is nothing but folly, your days are but numbered, and your gathering is but scattered, on the day when the caller will call, ‘Indeed Allah’s curse is upon the wrongdoers.”

So if you want to say that your media is clarificatory jihad, meaning upon the path of Sayyeda Zainab (AS), then is your media an extension of the Husseini resistance? Are you a defender of the Ahlul Bayt (AS)? Do you revive their remembrance? Do you show joy for their joy and show sorrow on the day of their martyrdom? Does your media have an effort based on defending the Ahlul Bayt (AS), responding to doubts about them, clarifying their status and virtues, and speaking about their oppression? The media of Sayyeda Zainab (AS) was centered on supporting the religion. It was founded upon defending the Ahlul Bayt (AS).

So is your media an extension of the Husseini resistance? Does your media call to your Imam of your time? Or does it call to other than that, calling to worldly matters? The media of Sayyeda Zainab (AS) was supportive of the Imam of her time, al-Sajjad (AS). So, is your media supportive of the Imam of your time, al-Mahdi (AJ)?

The Qur'an with Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) is Path of Salvation, and the Qur'an without them is Path of Destruction and Misguidance

From the chapter of the Virtues of the Quran - Part I

... The continuation of the narration

Then he said: Do you know when these great rewards will be granted to this listener and this reciter? When he does not exaggerate concerning the Qur'an, nor turn away from it, nor seek livelihood through it, nor show off by means of it.

And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Hold fast to the Qur'an, for it is the beneficial healing and the blessed remedy, a protection for whoever holds onto it, and salvation for whoever follows it. It does not deviate so that it needs to be corrected, nor does it stray so that it branches off. Its wonders do not cease, and it does not wear out with frequent repetition.

And recite it, for Allah rewards you for its recitation with ten good deeds for every letter. Indeed, I do not say that “Alif Lam Mim” is ten, but rather I say “Alif” is ten, and “Lam” is ten, and “Mim” is ten. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Do you know who is the one who truly holds fast, by whose holding he attains this great honor? He is the one who takes the Qur'an and its interpretation from us, the Ahl al-Bayt, or from our intermediaries, the envoys from us to our Shi'ah, not from the opinions of disputants or the analogies of those who use analogy.

As for the one who speaks about the Qur'an according to his own opinion, if he happens to arrive at correctness by coincidence, he has been ignorant in taking it from other than its proper people. He is like one who travels a path filled with beasts without guards to protect him. If safety happens to come to him, he will not escape blame, reproach, and rebuke from the wise and virtuous. And if a beast happens to devour him, he has combined with his destruction his downfall in the eyes of the righteous and virtuous, as well as in the eyes of the ignorant masses.

And if the one who speaks about the Qur'an according to his opinion errs, he has taken his seat in the Fire. His likeness is like one who boards a stormy sea without a captain and without a sound ship. When news of his destruction is heard, no one will say except: he deserved what befell him and was worthy of what struck him.

The Children of Imam Muhammad ibn Ali al-Jawad (peace be upon him) and His Wives

The author Muhammad Jaber mentioned in his book, citing multiple historical books, about the children of Imam Abu Ja‘far the Second (peace be upon him)..

His children:

1. Imam Ali al-Hadi (peace be upon him) and his children Musa, Fatimah, and Amamah – by al-Mufid vol. 2 p. 295. / And al-Saduq mentioned in A‘lam al-Wara p. 338 where he said: And among the daughters are Hakimah, Umm Kulthum, and Khadijah.

2. And al-Qummi mentioned in Muntaha al-Amal p. 570 vol. 2 three daughters: Zaynab, Umm Muhammad, and Maymunah, the mother of al-Sayyid Musa nicknamed al-Mubarraqa‘ and buried in Qom, so he is considered the grandfather of the Radawi sayyids.

3. And Hakimah daughter of Imam al-Jawad was the example of virtues, piety, and merits, so she had the great honor and responsibility of teaching Sayyeda Narjis (peace be upon her), the mother of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his relief), and she was her follower and the first who embraced the Imam of the Age and Time and brought him to Imam al-Askari (peace be upon him), so she was pure in origin and branch as she was the daughter of an Imam, the sister of an Imam, and the aunt of an Imam.

As for his wives:

1. Umm al-Fadl – daughter of al-Ma’mun (Allah's curse be upon them both)

2. Samanah al-Maghribiyyah (peace be upon her), mother of Imam al-Hadi (peace be upon him)

📖 Imam al-Jawad: His lineage and his Imamate and some of his supplications, p. 40-41

Umm al-Fadl daughter of al-Ma’mun (Allah's curse be upon them both) is the one who poisoned our Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him)... By order of al-Mu‘tasim al-Abbasi, the wife of Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him), Umm al-Fadl, carried out his poisoning. While the Imam was suffering from the severe pain of the poison, he asked her for water, but the response of Umm al-Fadl was to leave him and lock the doors upon him. So the Imam remained there alone, his body weakening little by little, thirsty, intensely thirsty, and no one was with him to give him water, and while suffering from the poison he was giving up his soul, so he went up to the roof of the house and turned toward Karbala and mentioned the thirst of his grandfather al-Husayn (peace be upon him)… Then the effect of the poison intensified until the Imam was martyred. And when the Imam was martyred, al-Mu‘tasim (Allah's curse be upon him) ordered that the pure body of the Imam be thrown from the roof and refused his burial and funeral, and the body of the Imam remained cast on the ground for days, and the fragrance of musk and amber was radiating from it. When al-Mu‘tasim learned of that, he feared sedition and scandal, so he ordered his burial.

Poisoned like al-Hasan.. Estranged like al-Husayn.

The virtue of sending blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad!

It is narrated from Imam al-Baqir or al-Sadiq (peace be upon them): "There is nothing in the Scale heavier than sending blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and indeed a man’s deeds will be placed in the Scale and it will incline with him, then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, will bring forth the blessings upon him and place it in his Scale, and it will outweigh by it."

It is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family): "I am at the Scale on the Day of Resurrection, so whoever his bad deeds outweigh his good deeds, I will bring the blessings upon me until I make his good deeds heavier by it."

The Qur'an with Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) is Path of Salvation, and the Qur'an without them is Path of Destruction and Misguidance From the chapter of the Virtues of the Quran - Part I ... The continuation of the narration Then he said: Do you know…
The Book of Allah and the Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) are the Greatest Blessing After Faith in Allah

From the chapter of the Virtues of the Quran - Part I

... The continuation of the narration

And he said: Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has not bestowed upon a servant after faith in Allah anything better than knowledge of the Book of Allah and knowledge of its interpretation.

And whoever Allah gives a share in that, then thinks that anyone has been given what he has been given and has surpassed him, then he has belittled the blessings of Allah upon him.

Yahya ibn Aktham (Allah's curse be upon him) tries to test Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him) in the presence of the Abbasid ruler al-Ma'mun (Allah's curse be upon him) - with a single answer from the Imam the matter ends with the complete helplessness and failure of Yahya ibn Aktham, and al-Ma'mun was left like the idiot, begging for clarification of the issue because of the Imam's sharp insight and intelligence while he (the Imam) was only nine years old! - 1/2

The Abbasids unanimously agreed to choose Yahya ibn Aktham, the Chief Judge of Baghdad and one of the leading scholars of jurisprudence among the Nasiba in that era, to test Imam Abu Ja'far the Second (peace be upon him). They presented the matter to him and promised him immense wealth if he tested the Imam and he was unable to answer, for that would achieve for them the greatest of victories.

They wanted to test Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him) with the intention of overcoming him before the people and the Abbasid ruler and invalidating his Imamate and legitimacy out of hatred for Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him) at that time was nine years old.

Al-Ma'mun ordered that a cushion be spread for Imam Abu Ja'far the Learned and that two bolsters be placed in it for him. That was done for him and the Imam sat in it. Yahya ibn Aktham sat before him, and al-Ma'mun sat on a cushion connected to the cushion of the Imam.

Yahya ibn Aktham asked the Imam: What do you say, may Allah make me your ransom, about a person if he hunted in Ihram?

The Imam answered by asking Yahya: Which branch of it does he mean?

Did he kill it outside the sanctuary or inside the sanctuary? Was the person in ihram aware or unaware? Did he kill intentionally or by mistake? Was he free or a slave? Was he young or old? Was it his first time killing or a repeated act? Was the animal a bird or something else? Was it a small animal or a large one? Was he persistent or remorseful? Did he kill it at night or during the day? Was he in ihram for umrah when he killed it, or was he in ihram for hajj?

Yahya found himself incapable and ignorant of the amount of detail and precision in such a legal matter that had never come to him despite his planning. He failed, and al-Ma'mun became bewildered and was left like a fool by the Imam’s intelligence and vast knowledge that encompassed every detail of the issue. So al-Ma'mun asked Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him) for clarification, and the Imam replied:

If a person in ihram kills a wild animal outside the sanctuary and the animal is a large bird, then he must offer a sheep. If he kills it inside the sanctuary, then the compensation is doubled. If he kills a fledgling outside the sanctuary, then he must offer a young lamb that has been weaned from milk, and he does not have to pay its value because it was not in the sanctuary. If he kills it inside the sanctuary, then he must offer the lamb and the value of the fledgling.

If it is a wild animal, then for a wild donkey he must offer a cow. If it is an ostrich, then he must offer a camel. If he cannot, then he must feed sixty poor people. If he cannot, then he must fast eighteen days. If it is a cow, then he must offer a cow. If he cannot, then he must feed thirty poor people. If he cannot, then he must fast nine days. If it is a gazelle, then he must offer a sheep. If he cannot, then he must feed ten poor people. If he cannot, then he must fast three days.

If he killed it inside the sanctuary, then the compensation is doubled as a sacrificial offering reaching the Kaaba, a binding obligation that he must slaughter if he is performing hajj at Mina where the people slaughter. If he is performing umrah, he must slaughter it in Mecca in the courtyard of the Kaaba and give in charity the equivalent of the price of a sheep.

If he kills a pigeon from the pigeons of the sanctuary, then he must give one dirham in charity and one dirham to buy feed for the pigeons of the sanctuary. For a fledgling, half a dirham, and for an egg, a quarter of a dirham.

Everything that the person in ihram does out of ignorance or by mistake carries no penalty except hunting, for in that there is ransom whether it was done in ignorance or knowingly, by mistake or intentionally.

Everything done by a slave, its expiation is upon his master like what is binding upon his master. If he points to a wild animal while in ihram and the animal is killed, then he must offer ransom for it. The one who persists in it incurs, after the ransom, punishment in the Hereafter, while the remorseful one has nothing upon him in the Hereafter after the ransom.

If he kills at night or unwillingly by mistake, then there is nothing upon him unless he deliberately hunts. If he hunts at night or during the day, then he must offer ransom for it. The one in ihram for hajj slaughters the ransom in Mecca.
