But the actual negotiations took part by exchanging messages through Oman's Foreign Minister, Al-Busaidi.

Furthermore, Araqchi refused to allow U.S. CENTCOM commander to attend negotiations (as stated above) but agreed eventually in order to respect the host country. Araqchi didn't shake his hand, unlike he did with Witkoff and Kushner.
