The Shia bloc has chosen him, and the Kurds are on board too. He will be the next Prime Minister, the Sunnis don't have enough seats to dispute his candidacy.

So yes, although he isn't 'officially' the Prime Minister yet, he will be.

FYI, you can support the deportation of illegal immigrants while simultaneously condemning incidents where mistakes were clearly made and disproportionate force was used.

The two things are not mutually exclusive. You don't have to agree with everything ICE does, just like you don't have to agree with everything your country does (despite being a nationalist). I would say it's especially concerning coming from someone with a Christianity-based moral framework to justify killing under such dubious circumstances.

Just because you support ICE doesn't mean you need to justify every death at the hands of ICE agents. I actually think that long term, this will be detrimental to the goal you're trying to achieve. Making a major portion of the American population hate ICE will only slow down deportations and reduce compliance even further.

Instead, push for them to be held accountable and prevent future incidents. Yes, it'll never be 100% perfect — it'll never be pretty — but American citizens need to be able to trust ICE, not be afraid of them.
