— Okay, two immediate thoughts:

1. Who in their right mind within the Iranian administration thought it was a good idea to suddenly attend interviews with Tucker Carlson, Fox News, and other American media outlets that played (and continue to play) a huge role in the anti-Iran propaganda that is being actively used to justify past and future American-Israeli aggression?

2. The only way I can rationalize and justify this interview, specifically with Fox News, is that Iran knows it is Trump's favourite TV channel, and judging by his Truth Social post, Trump clearly watched the interview. After Araqchi loudly declared that Iran's nuclear program was destroyed, Trump has a 'way out', he can easily refer to Araqchi's statement to avoid further military action against Iran, using it as proof that objectives have been achieved.

Having said that, I still stick by point 1. Since when did conducting interviews with the enemies of Islam and the Iranian nation become something normal or acceptable?

Once again, it seems that Araqchi does not know what he is talking about. In fact, by trying to appease the U.S. media, he accidentally called Khamenei a radical:

— Just for the record, I understand that Araqchi cannot openly say 'we want to wipe out Israel', that would be too provocative.

But he could have easily avoided the question or dodged it some other way, instead of directly contradicting the Leader's words and making a fool of himself.

A Call to the Leaders and Rulers of Our Arab and Islamic Nations:

Our Palestinian people are dying of hunger. The time has come to break the shackles, open the crossings, and rescue the starving in Gaza.

As famine in the Gaza Strip enters dangerous and unprecedented stages—after nearly five months of complete closure, and the deaths of nearly one hundred civilians, including eighty children, due to starvation and malnutrition, in addition to a thousand martyrs who were killed by occupation bullets at aid checkpoint gates—while the world watches this humanitarian tragedy managed by the occupation without lifting a finger, we in the Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas affirm the following:

• We are astonished at the official Arab and Islamic silence in the face of the systematic genocide and criminal starvation taking place in the Gaza Strip. We emphasize that the reactions and positions expressed do not rise to the level of the catastrophe faced by 2.25 million people.

• This deafening silence dashes the hopes of our oppressed people in the leaders of the ummah, and encourages the war criminal Netanyahu to continue his policies of starvation and extermination against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

• Our people are being starved and deprived of water, while thousands of aid trucks pile up on the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing, at a time when the occupation government imposes a criminal mechanism of killing and humiliation in managing the starvation.

• While we decry the failure to implement the resolution of the extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit held in Riyadh in November 2023, we call for an end to the silence and the adoption of a historic stance—by activating all pressure tools to stop the starvation policy, break the siege, and immediately allow the entry of aid.

• We call on Arab and Islamic countries to sever all forms of relations with the fascist occupation entity, close embassies, expel Zionist ambassadors, cancel all forms of normalization, and isolate and reject this criminal entity as a first step toward deterring it and forcing it to stop its crimes against our oppressed Palestinian people.
