Kazakhstan's mining giant Tau-Ken Samruk has partnered with American Cove Capital investors. The total reserves at the site are estimated at a massive 349 thousand tons, with 75% of the shares belonging to the US investors.
The deal also includes Cove Capital's majority ownership and investment in two other resource-rich sites, including the world's largest tungsten deposits at the Severny Katpar and Verkhnie Kairakty sites. Cove Capital projects to invest at least $1.1 billion in all three sites.
