Verdict against climate activist invalid
The verdict against climate activist Samuel Bosch is invalid according to the Federal Constitutional Court. Accordingly, Samuel must be released immediately from his imprisonment, which he began on March 21 of his own accord.
Samuel was originally sentenced by the Augsburg Regional Court for, among other things, defamation against people in political life after he described the Swabian government as corrupt and "insolent".
He took legal action against this before the Federal Constitutional Court, which has now ruled in his favor. The Augsburg Regional Court had not taken sufficient account of freedom of expression in its ruling. The case therefore goes back to the Augsburg Regional Court, which now has to decide again.
In the meantime, Samuel, who has continued his activism while in juvenile detention, can again pursue his political activities in freedom.
Next plan is a workshop week in Altdorf Forest, where citizens can learn more about activism.

Prison resistance in Turkey enters new phase
The hunger strike by political prisoners in Turkey for the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan and a political solution to the Kurdish question, which began in November 2023, has entered a new phase. Until April 4, the birthday of Abdullah Öcalan, the prisoners had alternately gone on a 10-day hunger strike.
Their spokesman Deniz Kaya has now announced that from now on they will boycott court hearings and refrain from visits and telephone calls with their relatives. The prisoners thus want to demonstrate that Öcalan's freedom is synonymous with theirs and that they will therefore live under the same conditions as him.
The prisoners are thus adhering to the demands of the international campaign proclaimed on October 10, 2023.
There has been no sign of life from Abdullah Öcalan and his three fellow prisoners for three years. They have been denied contact with the outside world and legal assistance.

The Antwerp Youth Committee and the Social Committee have begun preparations for the Kurdistan Youth Festival soccer tournament.
ANTWERP- Preparations have begun for the TCŞ-led soccer tournament at the Kurdistan Youth Festival, to be held on May 25.
The youth gathered for the youth festival, which will be held under the slogan "Culture is the shield of our existence," said they gathered to protect themselves from the corrupt life and liberalism in Europe and will continue their activities every week.
The Antwerp youth, who will play under the team name "Şehîd Tolhildan Qendîl," have started preparatory matches to build their best team.

🔎The Türkiye of the Kayyum, Erdogan's trustees who plunder Kurdistan
🗓️Since the 2019 local elections, 48 of the 65 mayors elected by the Peoples' Democratic Party HDP have been dismissed and replaced by commissioners loyal to Erdogan's government. This practice is the clearest representation of the Turkish government's contempt for the will of the Kurds.
✌️Following the recent elections, in which the Dem party won in 81 municipalities, freeing up the positions previously occupied by trustees and winning new municipalities previously in the hands of Erdogan's AKP, countless evidence of corruption and abuse of power has emerged of the Kayyum. Some particularly derogatory ones are making the rounds on social media:
📍In Halfeti the electoral council validated the victory of the DEM party despite the AKP's fraud attempts, the outgoing trustee then decided to loot everything of value in the municipality in the middle of the night, including the security cameras, but it was taken during the theft. The same happened in Kiliztepe, where the trustee even stole the municipal chairs.
📍In Cizre the AKP trustee has indebted the municipality for the equivalent of €22,237,107.
📍In one of the Istanbul municipalities where the CHP took over from the AKP, a real private SPA was discovered next to the mayor's office.

Young women in Kobanê planted trees for the birthday of leader Apo
KOBANÊ - Today the Young Women's Union planted trees at Til Xazal School on the occasion of leader Apo's birthday.
A seminar on the life and resilience of leader Apo was held at the beginning. Afterwards, students and young women planted trees together in the schoolyard and concluded their activity by chanting the slogans "Bê Serok jiyan nabe," "Jin, Jiyan, Azadî" and "Bijî Serok Apo."
Leader Apo was born in 1949 in the village of Amara, belonging to Riha, into a poor family. Leader Apo began to seek a free life from an early age and became the leader of the struggle of the Kurdish people and freedom-loving people.
Every year, to celebrate leader Apo's birthday, trees are planted that are considered a symbol of sustainable living.

Tabqa Young Women and Youth remember the Martyr Bişeng, the Martyr Sara and the Martyr Tolhildan
The Young Women's Union and the Tabqa City Revolutionary Youth Movement remembered the Martyrs of struggle and freedom.
TEBQA - The Young Women's Union and the Revolutionary Youth Movement held a ceremony for the martyrs of freedom and struggle in the presence of representatives of the Tabqa Provincial Autonomous Administration and young members and young women.
At the beginning, all present paused for a minute to pay their respects to the martyrs, then the director of the Youth Movement, Ela El-Mihemed, spoke. Ela El-Mihmed spoke about the struggle and sacrifice of Martyr Bişeng, Martyr Sara and Martyr Tolhildan for the freedom of the people.
At the end, candles were lit and slogans were raised.
