🚩 SDF: Everyone should protect their land and revolution

Reacting to the attacks of the occupying Turkish state in Northern and Eastern Syria, SDF expressed its condolences for the 8 patriots who were martyred in the attacks.

Stating that the Turkish state and its chief Erdoğan misled the domestic and foreign public opinion about the attacks, and that their forces did not suffer any losses in the attacks, SDF said that the areas where the attack took place were civilian areas.

“Against all these attacks, our people in Rojava and Northern and Eastern Syria must show their organized reaction with the maturity of self-defense at the highest level. Our people should not allow these attacks, they should protect their lands and revolution with strong actions. He must act with this awareness. They should join the SDF and ensure their defense without expecting protection from anyone."

Rojava Information Center (RIC): Turkish airstrikes hit 18 civilian locations on Christmas day

The locations attacked by Turkey included factories producing construction materials, agricultural products and foods, grain silos, a mill, industrial sites, a dialysis center, a printing house and a petrol station. There were a total of 32 strikes, according to RIC.

These attacks came less than 3 months after a 5-day Turkish airstrike campaign destroyed Northern and Eastern Syria’s power infrastructure, cutting electricity and water for over 1 million people. Turkey’s strikes kill 8 civilians and wound 11 – the death toll may rise as some people are injured critically, said RIC in its report.

Turkish airstrikes killed a total of 8 civilians – Berivan Mihemed, Riyad Hemo, Fares al-Fares, Ferhan Teme, Hussein Ehmed, Renas Hussein, Ferhan Khelef and Aya al-Sabawi – and injured 11, adding to the 1 injured on the 23.

The Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA) have upped their shelling along the contact lines separating the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria-governed areas from the Turkish- occupied areas of NES, striking villages around Shehba and Manbij.

🔸Turkey targeted a building belonging to the Internal Security Forces Asayîş next to a road checkpoint named Nametiye in Qamishlo

🔹Checkpoint in the East of the city Amûdê was bombed (18h50)
🔹Another checkpoint targeted in Kobanê (19h15)
🔹A drone attack on the city of Dirbêsiye (19h15)
🔹An unmanned aircraft bombed a house in Dirbêsiye (19h55)

Dozens of members of the Revolutionary Youth Movement of Syria, Young Women's Union and hundreds of people from Tirbespiyê of Cizîre came to the square in cars, supporting the resistance of the HPG and condemning the attacks of the occupying Turkish state against the Northern and Eastern Region of Syria.

Young people walked all over the streets of Tirbespi, took pictures of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and chanted the slogans "Long live the leader Apo'' and "Long live the guerrilla resistance''.

🇬🇫 The action was taken even under the current attacks across Rojava! Actions in support the guerrilla victory also took place in Heseke, Qamishlo, Reqqa, Tebqa, Minbic, Derazor and Kobane!
