Documentary about his family visit to Rojava

Andok (Konstantin Gedig) was born on February 10, 1995 in Kiel and first made his way to Rojava in 2016. As a YPG fighter, he took part in the fight against IS in Manbij, Cerablus Raqqa and trained as a military medic.

He called himself Andok, the name of the highest mountain in Amed and “Cotkar” (farmer).

After an injury, he returned to his homeland only to set out again in March 2019, this time to take part in the defense of the Yazidi people in Shengal. When the attack by fascist Turkey together with jihadist mercenaries on the city of Serêkaniye began on October 9th, he signed up as a volunteer.

On October 16, 2019, Konstantin lost his life in Serekaniye. He secured the evacuation of the Şehîd Roj Hospital when he was hit by the Turkish NATO air strike, which violated international law. He was only 24 years old.

🇲🇲 Over 75 Myanmar Junta Forces Killed in Four Days of Clashes With Resistance

At least 76 Myanmar junta forces as well as three resistance fighters and two civilians were reportedly killed in the last four days as People’s Defense Force groups (PDFs) and ethnic armed organizations (EAOs) continued to attack regime targets across the country.
