As if it was not enough for our clients to be tortured, their travel rights are also violated. It is not possible to talk about the law. Urfa GGM is known for the illegal transactions it has recently undertaken. GGM was previously mentioned with the deportation of detained refugees with false documents. There is an unlawful detention from beginning to end. The crimes committed by the law enforcement are obvious. There is a situation of arbitrariness.We do not expect a lawful outcome from this arbitrariness."

This lack of transparency has only deepened the concerns of both her family and our organization, The East Kurdistan Free Women Society (KJAR).

We firmly believe that the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and the Ministry of Intelligence of Iran played a role in the forced disappearance of Ciwana Sine. We hold the Islamic Republic of Iran accountable for any harm that befalls our esteemed comrade.

We appeal to the international community, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Iran, and global human rights organizations to take swift action concerning the forced disappearance of Verishe Moradi and to address the security institutions' fake scenarios deployed against her.

🕊 International figures rally behind “Freedom for Öcalan, a Political Solution for Kurdistan” campaign

A cadre of international voices have publicly thrown their support behind Abdullah Öcalan, the imprisoned leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), within the scope of the international “Freedom for Öcalan, a Political Solution for Kurdistan” campaign which has been going on since the beginning of the week.

▪️The campaign garnered messages of solidarity from individuals and organisations around the world, including the video message of prominent philosopher Slavoj Žižek. He expressed three key reasons for supporting Öcalan, highlighting his criticism of authoritarian governments, admiration for Kurdish organisation in autonomous spaces, and recognition of Öcalan’s intellectual development during his imprisonment.

🔸Fabrizio De Sanctis, the General Secretary of the Italian Partisans National Union, condemned Öcalan’s isolation and called for action from Italy and the European Union.

▪️Dimitrios Roussopoulos, a Canadian political activist, stressed Öcalan’s role in the Kurdish Freedom Movement and called for direct talks with him. South African scholar Farid Esack called for international solidarity.

🔸Amanda Verrone from Bilbao, Spain, criticised Turkey’s treatment of the Kurdish population and lack of international support for it, demanding attention from the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture.

▪️Patricia Gregorini, from Argentina, urged Öcalan’s release and highlighted the inhumane conditions of his imprisonment.

🔸Dr. Vicki Sentas from UNSW Sydney emphasised the importance of Öcalan’s release for a just resolution to the Kurdish conflict.

▪️Daniel Richard in Verviers, Belgium, drew parallels between Öcalan’s situation and Nelson Mandela’s release, advocating for negotiations and expressing solidarity with North and East Syria.

🔸Mick Nugent, a Sinn Féin councillor in Cork, Ireland, stressed the need for meaningful negotiations and peace talks.

▪️Dr. Jason Dockstader, a philosophy lecturer at University College Cork, expressed his support and highlighted the challenge Öcalan’s vision poses to the Turkish state’s centralisation and authoritarianism.

Heval Ibrahim served as a commander in new warrior training schools and trained his comrades who had newly joined the guerrilla. With his cordial and sincere comradeship, he not only explained the Apoist ideology, PKK comradeship and the meaningful life of the guerrilla to his comrades, but also embodied it in his person.

Comrade Nurhak mobilized his companions in every field he was in with his liveliness and endless quest and thus added color to life, came to the fore in a short time with these characteristics. He became a competent guerrilla with his command of the terrain, precision and skills in the art of war.
