🚩🏴 TCŞ members protest for Rojava in Vienna!

In Vienna, the capital of Austria, the Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger-TCŞ) lit candles to commemorate the 29 members of the Anti-Drug Forces who were martyred in the Turkish state's attack on Dêrik.

After the commemoration, they attracted attention by walking from Stephansplatz, the most famous and crowded street in Vienna, to Schwedenplatz with the slogans "Bijî Serok APO" and "Bijî Berxwedana Rojava". Young people hung the YPJ flag from the bridge over the Donau river at Schwedenplatz, chanted the slogan "Sehid Namirin" and created colorful smoke.

Hope is standing high!

In the morning of 10/5 there was a new wave of military attacks by the Turkish state on parts of northern and eastern Syria. Above all, civil infrastructure has become the target of Turkish fascism. These attacks are actively supported financially and politically by Western nations and corporations.

Rojava (north and east Syria) is a star of hope for the oppressed peoples. A revolution that has sent tremendous horror to the occupiers Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey. This is why they are attacking the revolution. Their guns are hitting homes, schools, populations, but their real target is our hope. To show they will never reach their goal, we keep hope alive!

❗️Turkish army is bombing Rojava at this moment!

In these moments, the invading Turkish state is heavily bombarding the village of Til Cîcan, Teanê, Simuqa, Bendava Şehba, Hirbil, Şêx Îsa, Beluniyê, and Miniq in the Şehba region, as well as the villages of Merenazê, Elqamiyê, Şêwarqa, and Tat Maraş in the Efrîn district. In the Şêrewa district, the villages of Soxanekê, Aqîbê, and Bênê are also being intensely shelled.

🇲🇲 Over 30 Myanmar Junta Forces killed, three Resistance Fighters martyred in 4 days of clashes

At least 31 Myanmar junta forces as well as three resistance fighters were killed in the last four days as People’s Defense Force groups (PDFs) and ethnic armed organizations (EAOs) continued to clash with regime targets across the country. Incidents were reported in Sagaing and Magwe regions and Shan State.

28 Turkish soldiers killed in Rojava in the last days

In retaliation for the recent attacks launched by the Turkish state against Rojava since October 4, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) carried out retaliatory actions, resulting in a total of 28 Turkish soldiers and dozens of mercenaries killed. Several soldiers and mercenaries were also injured in these actions.

4 years of the brutal murder of Hevrîn Xelef, the Jasmine of Syria

Hevrin was a symbol for all Syrians. She was a symbol of security and peace. She was known as ‘the Jasmine of Syria’, an idealistic young woman who believed in a better future for her war-torn country.

After the Kurds fought and defeated ISIS in north east Syria – with the help of the US - Khalaf joined a grassroots movement that was working to rebuild Syria as a democracy. US troops stayed on in the region to help keep the peace, ensuring that ISIS fighters did not regroup.

Then late last year, Trump made the shock announcement he was pulling US troops out of the region, leaving their former allies, the Kurds, unprotected. Turkey struck immediately, invading north east Syria and attacking the Kurdish forces it labelled as terrorists.

In the days that followed, Hevrin Khalaf and her driver were pulled out of their van on a main road and brutally murdered.

Reporter Yalda Hakim travels into north east Syrian to investigate the deaths of Hevrin and her driver. The killings looked like a political assassination but the Turks denied responsibility. So, who killed Hevrin Khalaf? And why?

Yalda Hakim speaks to Khalaf’s mother and her political colleagues. She interviews a team of volunteers investigating killings. And she speaks to local journalists who are tracking down the identities of militia members who were in the area on the morning of the killing.

From Kongra-Star: Hevrin Xelef, leader of the Syrian Future Party, was and will remain one of the most important influences on every woman across the North and East Syrian region. She rigorously visited every woman, every family, taking care to respect all the customs and traditions of each community living in the region. She was the symbol of what a people expects from its leader, she was a fighter for democracy and freedom in all of Syria. She traveled miles and overcame great obstacles for her people, for their freedom.

She always defended women and their access to education and work, fighting against patriarchal and conservative mentalities. In this struggle she represented a formidable threat to the enemies of democracy, just as so many of the women following in her footsteps.

On October 12, 4 years ago, she was the target of a brutal and barbaric attack by mercenaries, who dragged Hevrin and her driver out of their car and shot them multiple times. We honour her memory and invite all women to follow her example of courage in the face of tyranny, and her devotion to freedom and democracy.

❗️INTERNATIONALISTS ATTACKED IN BAKUR - TURKEY

Our internationalist comrades who came to Kurdistan from France, Italy and Germany were detained under torture during the press conference they attended to protest the attacks on Rojava.

Democratic Regions Party (DBP), People's Democratic Party (HDP) and Green Left Party wanted to make a statement in Riha to condemn Turkey's attacks on Northern and Eastern Syria. 15 internationalist young people who came from different countries of Europe to attend the congress of the Green Left Party to be held on October 15 and were in Kurdistan for a series of visits also wanted to participate in the statement. - The 15 detained internationalists and HDP young people were taken to the Provincial Security Directorate.

Retaliatory actions against the attacks of the Turkish state continue!

▪️On October 9, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation base opposite the village of Seyda in the Ein Issa countryside with heavy weapons. 1 Turkish soldier was killed and 1 was injured. In addition to the security and observation point, the radar system and surveillance cameras on the base were also destroyed.

▪️ On October 10, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation base in Dibis village in Ein Issa countryside with heavy weapons. 3 occupation soldiers were injured, the number of invaders killed could not be determined. An armored military vehicle and its fortifications were also hit.

❗️INTERNATIONALISTS ATTACKED IN BAKUR - TURKEY

Our internationalist comrades who came to Kurdistan from France, Italy and Germany were detained under torture during the press conference they attended to protest the attacks on Rojava. As they held a solidarity protest for Rojava in Urfa (Riha) today, the police violently arrested 15 internationalists and 35 members of the Yeşil Sol Parti Youth.
