The 15th of February marks a black day for revolutionaries and freedom loving people worldwide. On this day in 1999, people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan was abducted in an international complot and consequentially put in prison in Imrali (Turkey). The life and philosophy of Abdullah Öcalan inspired millions of people to fight for democracy, ecology and women’s liberation.

As Internationalists, we came to join the Rojava Revolution because we found inspiration within the revolution that is based on Öcalans philosophy. As internationalist members of YPG/YPJ, we condemn the international conspiracy. But however they try to attack our longing for freedom, they will never be able to take what we found here: hope.

Young members of TCŞ (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger) and TekoJIN (Jinên Ciwan ên Têkoşer) are protesting at the European Parliament building in Strasbourg, France, demanding the physical freedom of People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Civil disobedience action is being carried out under the leadership of the members of TCŞ and TekoJIN, since the European Parliament, which remained silent on the aggravated isolation imposed on Leader APO for 25 years by the Turkish state, and did not implement its decisions.
