‼️ BREAKING: Porsche has signed a five-year, $1.5bn deal with India's Tata Consultancy Services to roll out AI across its business.

Tata is also Land Rover's IT provider under a five-year contract (~£800m) covering networks and cybersecurity. They were hacked last August; production stopped for five weeks. The cost to the UK economy at ~£1.9bn — the most economically damaging cyber event in British history.

Four months earlier, two Tata employees' M&S logins were reportedly used in the M&S breach (~£300m profit hit). Co-op, another Tata client, had data on all 6.5m members stolen. In Aug 2026 a seller listed 800k+ purported Tata employee records; Tata says it found no credible evidence of a breach and the data appears years old.

Images have appeared online of what seems to be Apple's Private Cloud Compute: hardware built around official Apple M5 silicon on custom PCBs.

Visible in the photos are Apple's custom heat spreaders, Apple Part Numbers (APNs) on the service diagrams, and a modular blade/chassis design optimized for densely packing multiple low-power M5 chips for AI inference workloads.

Apple has reportedly been deploying M5 chips in its PCC infrastructure (skipping the M3/M4 generations for better efficiency and performance) which makes these a rare look inside the actual server units.

According to the poster, all of this hardware is orchestrated by a Mac Studio.

‼️ The U.S. sanctioned at least six Iranian nationals on Monday over a hacking team inside Iran's intelligence ministry that Treasury blames for "extensive compromises" of U.S. critical infrastructure since 2023. Four were indicted last week over breached email accounts at the Department of Labor, FERC and the UN.

This comes after an attack on an U.S. ally, days earlier, Iranian hackers shut down a small British power plant for four days.

‼️ Microsoft Paint and Photos embed GUIDs as invisible watermarks in locally generated AI images. Even though you are using 'local AI', both apps send your prompt to Microsoft's servers, which moderate it and return a unique identifier that gets baked into the image.

‼️ Bill Gates accuses the tech industry of knowingly downplaying AI's risks because too much money is at stake.

Executives are worried in private but won't say so publicly, he told the NYT. Their reasoning, in his words: "It's bad for us — the next trillion dollars we're trying to raise."

Gates says the industry blew past milestones it once said would warrant caution: models escaping their creators' control, AI producing bioweapon recipes.

‼️ BREAKING: OpenAI has published its full post-mortem on their AI breakout and compromise of Hugging Face. Carried out by its own models, with no human directing them.

Agents stuck on evaluation tasks turned an internal Artifactory server into a covert message board, escaped the sandbox via SSRF, then chained two Hugging Face zero-days into code execution on dozens of production servers.

OpenAI calls it a "warning shot" for loss of control.
