‼️ Blackwater founder Erik Prince launched a company selling air defense by subscription to protect data centers, military bases, shipping lanes and refineries.

The founder has launched Vectus Air Defense Systems β€” jammers, cannons and interceptors sold as-a-service to owners of critical sites. Drone-swarming firm Swarmer holds a 20% founding stake.

Prince says customers need to "take the protection of critical assets into their own hands."

‼️GTA VI leaker CYBERLEEK now wants 400 XMR (roughly $165k) just to open a conversation.

Its site sells ad space inside the watermarks burned onto leaked Rockstar footage, plus custom clips made for brands, "including sexual content."

"This isn't a ransom," the page says. The 400 XMR only buys a reply.

‼️ Someone’s Bluetooth headphones kept refusing to hand audio back to their phone. He discovered the cause was an open AliExpress tab that was generating a tone you purposefully never hear, to secretly track you.

Alibaba's anti-abuse scripts use a fingerprinting technique with a hidden audio graph on the homepage β€” a sawtooth tone pushed through the browser's audio engine, then measured on the way out. CPU, OS and browser each process it slightly differently, and that variation results in a fingerprint they can track you with.

Gain is set to zero, so nothing is audible. But the audio graph stays wired to the system audio output, so the browser keeps processing live audio. Tab mute can't stop it, there's no media element to mute.

Some browsers like Firefox have already flattened the fingerprint itself. For example 99.24% of Firefox users return one of just three values. It doesn't stop the audio graph from running though.

❗️LinkedIn is going to tell people that others see their posts as AI slop. The message lands in Post Analytics, softened to "seems like AI."

This from the platform that built the "enhance with AI" button into its own composer and whose owner, Microsoft, has spent years wedging Copilot into Word, Outlook, Teams and Windows. The button is now being retired.

Over a million members have clicked the LinkedIn-slop-button since 30 July, says CPO Hari Srinivasan, who reports views of content LinkedIn classifies as slop are down 40%.

❗️Microsoft just released an official app that turns your default browser search settings to Bing, by installing an extension in Chrome, Firefox, Brave and Edge.

They're calling it "Microsoft Recommended Search Settings."

The extension it installs asks to read and change all data on all websites, and when Chrome offers to restore Google, a Microsoft box appears underneath: "Wait, don't change it back!"

‼️ BREAKING: Cyberleek has burned almost $1.5 million worth of dev tokens to prove a point. But they still hold the creator tokens, which are worth over half a million.

Meanwhile, they're getting rich collecting transaction fees (est. $40k–$70k+).

And they're charging $165k just for a reply.

‼️ BREAKING: Rockstar parent Take-Two Interactive hired a law firm that's now coming down hard on ordinary gaming accounts, in one case they were even not allowed to talk about the leaks.

BackersGamesF was locked over a post with no footage in it at all. Just a text update about Cyberleek's upload.
