🇵🇰🏳 "In last round, TTP had pushed for FATA (Tribal areas) merger reversal and armed return to Pakistan from Afghanistan. Pakistan asked for the TTP to dissolve itself and in return offered to free TTP prisoners and grant a legal amnesty.

The militant group says it prefers negotiating with military officials as they have the power to make decisions. Also jirgas are powerless so waste of their time and it is “almost impossible” for them to ease their conditions on the appeals of the jirga members." 🪖
