🇩🇿⚡️🇦🇪 - The UAE’s regional isolation is deepening, with Algeria beginning steps to cancel its air services agreement with the UAE, state media said today (Feb. 7). The agreement governs scheduled commercial flights, including airline access, routes, and landing rights. Ending it would allow Algiers to restrict or suspend direct air service unless a new framework is negotiated.

The move follows remarks by Abdelmadjid Tebboune in October 2025, when he said:

The Gulf countries are brotherly nations, except for one country whose name we won’t mention… They wanted to interfere in matters that we prevented even great powers from getting involved in,” accusing that state of meddling in Algeria’s internal affairs. Abu Dhabi is suspected of supporting the Movement for the Autonomy of Kabylia (MAK), a separatist group that Algeria considers a terrorist organization.

Regional states and Algerian media have also pointed to the UAE’s regional role—particularly its backing of rival secessionist actors in Libya, Yemen, and Sudan, its expanding military footprint in Africa, and its alignment with Morocco and Israel—as crossing red lines of non-interference and "Arab brotherhood."

The young people are finally taking matters into their own hands without relying on boomers sitting on important positions. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan is currently being dominated by PTI protesters, while Punjab and Sindh yet to come out in greater numbers, situation expected to intensify in coming days though Junta is trying to de-escalate by allowing private doctors and family access to Imran Khan.
