The Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) system introduce a 12-digit unique ID for every student in India. It provides for lifelong record of a student’s academic progress, supporting the goals of #NEP2020 through digitisation of education. It will help them to access the record anywhere, anytime.
APAAR empowers schools with evaluation and monitoring of students’ academic progress thereby enhancing learning outcomes and reducing drop-outs by tracking of Out of School Children (OoSC), Digital Integration of records through Digilocker, seamless transitions through smooth transfers of records and Visualization of learning pathways at Macro and Micro levels through VSK.
