Expressions of Preference
В первой части Speaking, полностью состоящей из личных вопросов, часто встречаются вопросы о ваших предпочтениях.
Do you prefer to do your hobbies alone or with other people? Do you prefer playing sports or watching them? Do you prefer chatting with family or friends? Do you prefer brand clothes or casualwear? What’s your favourite colour?

12 способов заявить о своих предпочтениях:
I find that all shades of blue are much more attractive than any other colour.
I love reading better than/more than watching TV.
I prefer doing sports to any creative hobbies.
Given the chance, I’d rather move abroad.
If I had a choice, I’d work part-time rather than 9-6.
If it were up to me, I’d choose something extreme.
I’m better off all by myself.
I’m not an expert but Vivaldi seems to be more emotional than many modern classical pieces.

если нет предпочтений:
It doesn’t really matter to me whether I cook myself or order food delivery.
I can’t say that I have any particular preferences.
I’m happy either way.
I don’t really care either way.
