🇨🇾 Armenian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of Turkey's occupation of the northern part of Cyprus.

“On 38th anniversary of the occupation of Northern Cyprus by Turkey, Armenia reiterates its clear and unequivocal support to friendly Cyprus, hoping that negotiations will resume in near future to witness reunification of the island.”

Armenian Ambassador to Greece Tigran Mkrtchyan also commented on the anniversary

“Today is the 38th anniversary of the occupation of Northern Cyprus by Turkey. A few days ago was the first year of the occupation of Shushi and other parts of Artsakh by Azerbaijan supported by Turkey. Similar flags, same occupiers, same methods!” Ambassador said on his twitter page.

After the communication of the Armenian National Committee of Greece with the President of OASTH, Mr. Shkodra (Thessaloniki Urban Transport Organization), regarding the unacceptable and offensive advertising placed on the OASTH bus, the President of the Organization undertook to remove the specific bus, as well as those who brought specific advertising.
