Quite a lot of shoes to wear for one person, I'm impressed!

Sometimes I discover old shots made with Xiaomi Mi5 and it was unmatched. Look at this tiny piece of the image (you can see the zoom on the right). All details are preserved, the materials are correctly rendered, and no sharpening or odd color representationβ¦

And to continue "characters art direction" discussion, here's the notable example:
This is Elex II and Elex. The wife of the main character looks so strikingly different in the second one (above) and their overall human rendering and modelling system was simply the worst part of the whole sequel.
The original was way too stylized, but it definitely stood out. Their skin shader was so much better and consistent. The new one is glossy, like they are all made of plastic.
Also, both games are one of a kind RPGs with unmatched freedom. You can pick factions to only become a spy inside for a totally different faction or join the underground thieves guild (you can easily miss). A lot of dialogues depend on your current squad, like my ex-wife forced a guard to give me back the bribe TWICE, since she's his boss.

The main character was also much more impressive in the first game (left, 2017) than in the sequel (right, 2022)...

Sarah Bond posted this two hours before they announced her departure. I don't think she knew what was going to happen.

The new head of XBox got her first ever achievement only mid-January. And a month later she played 28 games and got 10860 Game Scores.
She failed in Cities: Skylines, completed Firewatch (and praised it), got fairly deep into Halo games (many of them), but also didn't like Minecraft.
She also liked What Remains of Edith Finch, Townscaper, Gone Home, A Short Hike, and BALL x PIT. The overall picture doesn't scream "we hired three gamers to boost the score", but rather "we gave a non-gamer task to play or get fired, she's in pain now, trying to consume 70 years of game industry in one month".
