YouTube is fighting Ad Blockers again, cutting off the signal if your browser is cutting off the ad. Can be fixed by F5, but still a bit annoying.

Funny enough, YouTube employees were not initially informed last summer about this trick, so YouTube-Julia created a support forum topic where she said they are investigating the issue and will fix it. Now the page only exists in an archive. Because it's intentional. Dumbasses!

According to our sources, ASUS killed and ate their PR representative who told Hardware Unboxed that GPUs will be discontinued and will never return. So he will never return as well. Sad story!

YouTube is acting weird again: this time they remove custom subtitles from videos! No, not due to violations, they even remove them from tutorials and from officially uploaded anime (without a warning or backup).

Some suggest that it's done to make people use AI dubbing (no one is using or praising). But it's too early to say for sure.

UPD: They are not removing the basic plain text ones, they remove all the fancy formats that supported decorations and other media features. So it's not AI, just a simple enshitification.

The monsters by the way are not CGI (most of the time), they are created as a combination of practical effects. And it's good, but the shift from "abominations" to "yeah, they are like a meter away, we're all safe" is very odd.
