Who else to blame but Microsoft themselves? They are the biggest AI enthusiasts and investors after all.

Despite that, they are considering departure from Steam with new games to be released only on consoles and their own Microsoft Store / XBOX app. The tactics that failed for them a decade ago and failed for every competitor as well.

The Odyssey is good, the cast oddities people were worried about are irrelevant or even perfectly match the overall tone. It's not perfect but clearly gets the point of how lost and how small nations are against the changes of times. Elliot Page with a tiny role (I'd prefer not to spoil, but that's not Achilles) fits much better than I'd ever expected.

Spider-Man Brand New Day with many of the same faces barely scratches the surface. So immature, fun for a few times but do not dare to discuss violence well or grow any of the villains to any reasonable point. Death, mutations, complexity of coming of age — all occurs behind the scenes. Fun to watch but I just can't compare them.
