Now RT News reports (Nov 29):
The authorities in Australia’s largest state, New South Wales (NSW), have said that they will withdraw or refund tens of thousands of fines issued for violations of restrictions during the pandemic.
The move follows a defeat that the NSW government suffered in a court battle against free advocacy group Redfern Legal Centre on Tuesday.
The group launched a test case in July on behalf of three plaintiffs, arguing their fines of between AUS$1,000 ($673) to AUS$3,000 ($2,020) were invalid because the penalty notices didn’t describe the offense sufficiently.
“It’s not a big ask, if you’re going to fine someone for an offense, to set out what the offense is in the notice,” Katherine Richardson, the lawyer for the plaintiffs argued at the New South Wales Supreme Court, as cited by the Sydney Morning Herald.
The government’s lawyers have now conceded that the tickets really didn’t meet the legal requirements.
Shortly after the hearing, the Commissioner of Fines Administration said that 33,121 fines are going to be withdrawn, as they had been issued with similar wording to those of the plaintiffs' notices.
Redfern Legal Centre has said on Twitter that the development was a “momentous win.”
However, the tax administration agency Revenue NSW insisted that the challenge had been on a “technical basis” and that the court ruling didn’t mean that offenses that led to the fines hadn’t been committed.
A full judgment in the case from presiding judge Dina Yehia is expected to be delivered next year.

Elon Musk Promises "A Revolution Against Online Censorship in America" as Twitter Stops Enforcing COVID-19 Misinformation Policy 🎉

Twitter will no longer enforce its Covid-19 misinformation policy, under which users who deviated from prevailing establishment narratives frequently had their accounts locked or suspended.
The longstanding policy did not apply to misinformation from government officials, who regularly lied about things such as transmission, masks, vaccine efficacy, side effects, or any of the other 'science' which turned out to be patently false.
Twitter did not officially announce the change, rather, the company added a note to a page on its website outlining its Covid-19 policy.
"Effective November 23, 2022, Twitter is no longer enforcing the COVID-19 misleading information policy," reads the note, which follows a line that still reads:
"As the global community faces the COVID-19 pandemic together, Twitter is helping people find reliable information, connect with others, and follow what's happening in real time."
What's more, Sky News reports that the company's Covid-19 'misleading information' policy was nuked, which showed that the company operated on a strike system in which those who had a label added to their tweets were given one strike, while those with deleted tweets were given two strikes.
Users with two to three strikes would have a 12-hour lockout, while those with four strikes were permanently suspended.
The platform suspended more than 11,000 accounts and removed nearly 98,000 pieces of content for violating its COVID misinformation policy between January 2022 and September 2022, according to information published by Twitter.
"The site also reduced the visibility of tweets or accounts believed to be in violation of the policy by stopping tweets or retweets from those accounts appearing in certain parts of Twitter, displaying their replies in lower positions in conversations and excluding their tweets or account from recommendations on the site," wrote Sky News.
Of note, half of Twitter's content moderation, human rights and communications teams were laid off when new owner Elon Musk took over.
Hundreds more left after Musk issued an ultimatum to staff requiring them to sign up for "long hours at high intensity" or leave.
"Twitter is reinstating 62,000 accounts which were permanently suspended," tweets BNO News.

The Guardian now reports (Nov 30):
Authorities have abruptly lifted Covid restrictions in the Chinese city of Guangzhou, where protesters scuffled with police on Tuesday night.
Police searched for demonstrators in other cities and the country’s top security body called for a crackdown on “hostile forces”.
After days of extraordinary protests in the country that also prompted international demonstrations in solidarity, the US and Canada urged China not to harm or intimidate protesters opposing Covid-19 lockdowns.
On Wednesday afternoon, authorities suddenly announced a lifting of lockdowns in about half of the districts across the southern city of Guangzhou.
Official announcements told local officials to variously remove “temporary control orders” and to redesignate areas as low risk.
They also announced an end to mass PCR testing.
The easing of restrictions, which came despite rising cases in the city, did not extend to all districts.
Some areas, including parts of Haizhu, where protesters scuffled with police on Tuesday night, according to witnesses and footage, remained under restrictions.
The city recorded almost 7,000 Covid cases on Tuesday.
In Haizhu there had been several protests and clashes with police over the past month, and it was the site of the most recent protests in a wave of civil disobedience that escalated dramatically on Friday.
In the footage – geolocated by Agence France-Presse – people could be heard screaming and shouting as orange and blue barricades were pictured strewn across the ground.
Others threw objects at the police and later nearly a dozen men were filmed being taken away with their hands bound by cable ties.
Haizhu, a district of more than 1.8 million people, has been the source of the bulk of Guangzhou’s Covid-19 cases. Much of the area has been under lockdown since late October.
China’s foreign ministry says rights and freedoms must be exercised within the framework of the law.
Chinese authorities often blame discontent on “foreign forces”, although the claim is likely to be shrugged off by many people in China frustrated by the fierce restrictions deployed to try to keep Covid out of the country.
Economists and health experts, however, warn that Beijing cannot relax controls that keep most travellers out of China until tens of millions of older people are vaccinated. They say that means zero-Covid controls might not end for another year.

Students launched the "Enough is Enough Western" protest in August, and sought an injunction to permanently block Western Uni Covid-19 injection mandates in September with the help of Canada’s freedom organisations and former uni philosophy Prof. Julie Ponesse.
Global News now reports (Nov 29):
Western University in London, Ont., announced on Tuesday that the institution is dropping the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
In a policy update, the statement said that following recent discussions with medical experts as well as local public health officials, Western will no longer require students, employees and visitors to be vaccinated in order to come to campus.
“Before we enter the busy exam season, we want to thank you for taking care of yourselves, each other, and our community,” the update said.
“With your help, Western has minimized the impact of COVID-19 and offered a consistent, positive on-campus experience this term.”
The update follows the Ontario Superior Court of Justice's decision to reject a challenge by five Western University students to withdraw the institution’s previous COVID-19 booster vaccine mandate.
The controversial mandate initially prompted mixed reactions from students when announced back in August, while the union representing the institution’s faculty association praised the move.
Protests were held earlier in the school year as demonstrators marched around the southwestern Ontario campus and listened to speakers denounce the school’s booster mandate.
Western later announced that it was pushing its COVID-19 booster deadline into the new year after the bivalent vaccine was approved by Health Canada.
Despite revoking the vaccination policy, the university continues to encourage everyone to remain up to date with their vaccinations as “public health guidance remains clear: vaccination continues to be the best defence against severe illness and hospitalization.”
According to Western, masks will still be required in all instructional spaces following the December break for the duration of the winter term “to minimize any continued transmission of the virus.”

The nonprofit investigative public health group has filed more than 90 state, federal and international public records requests since July 2020, seeking information related to the origins of SARS-CoV-2.
The group filed the three new lawsuits after federal agencies failed to respond to several FOIA requests, instead withholding documents and information that potentially shed light on the origins of COVID-19 and related issues.
“The public and global scientific community have a right to know what data exists about these matters,” USRTK said.
USRTK filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the National Library of Medicine (NLM) after they ignored USRTK’s request, submitted in June, for information about Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST) inquiries made before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Researchers commonly use BLAST to compare potentially new genetic sequences to a database of known sequences.
The lawsuit seeks to uncover whether anyone was using BLAST to align a nucleic acid or amino acid sequence identical to parts of the SARS-CoV-2 genome before the pandemic.
USRTK Executive Director Gary Ruskin explained the significance of this investigation in a tweet:
"If such a sequence is found, and if the search occurred before the pandemic started, it would suggest the searcher may have had a virus similar to SARS-CoV-2."
USRTK filed another lawsuit against the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) when it didn’t respond to two FOIA requests from October 2020 and March 2021.
The first request sought records about funding contracts, grant agreements and communications about funding DARPA provided to Duke University in 2017, as part of DARPA’s Pandemic Prevention Platform program.
The second FOIA request sought contracts, grants and communication pertaining to eight contracts funded by DARPA’s PREventing EMerging Pathogenic Threats program to develop technology to surveil and model viral pathogens in animals and insects with the potential for human spillover.
USRTK filed a third lawsuit against HHS and the NLM for ignoring an August 2022 FOIA asking the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to release all early SARS-CoV-2 sequences or SARS-like sequences that might be suppressed or withheld from public view.
The investigative nonprofit filed the FOIA request after researchers found NIH had deleted SARS-CoV-2 sequences from its databases.
Given the limited investigation and the lack of transparency regarding the research into the origins of COVID-19, gain-of-function research and biolabs, USRTK in July 2020 began submitting public records requests because the group was “concerned that the national security apparatuses of the United States, China and elsewhere, and the university, industry and governmental entities with which they collaborate, may not provide a full and honest picture of the origins of SARS-CoV-2 and the dangers of gain-of-function research.”
According to USRTK:
“SARS-CoV-2 origin investigations raise vital questions about transparency deficits regarding research on potential pandemic pathogens, and the imperatives and players that are creating increasingly widespread biosafety containment facilities where dangerous viruses are stored and modified to make them more deadly.”

I look forward to the day when everyone can just shrug this off and laugh amongst their family and friends in the new society they've created for themselves..

What do they say about evil ? If I remember correctly that one of it's purpose' is to divide, to make us enemies of one another, to provoke conflict ? That may well be one of this chilling maneuver's greatest achievements.
I for one never tried to tell anyone not to get the injection. I do not interfere in other peoples health decisions. I do not offer advice on any issue unless asked and no one asked me. But I was given advice I never asked for..... over and over again.

Many people are grappling with this year’s depressing and disturbing news.
The constant focus on doom and divisiveness is taking a real toll on peoples’ psyches.
The surgeon Dr. Christiane Northrop, a leading authority on health and wellness, says our nervous systems simply weren’t designed to handle a daily barrage of bad news which contains the worst of humanity brought to you from every corner of the globe.
So What Exactly Is “Doomscrolling”?
VicHealth CEO Dr Sandro Demaio says ‘doomscrolling’ is when people scroll through their social media feeds, and absorb all the bad news making headlines.
When you are barraged with bad news, it increases the level of cortisol, the body’s primary stress hormone, which can cause some severe side effects including anxiety, headaches, memory and concentration problems.
A study by Huffington Post and Harvard Researcher Shawn Achor showed that if people watched even 3-4 minutes of negative news, 27% of participants were more likely to be depressed for the next 6-8 hours of their day.
But a study by J. P. Harrell in 2000 found that when participants watched concentrations of positive news and media, they had decreased levels of stress and anxiety.
Importance Of Staying Positive In An Era Of Doom And Gloom!!
• Good news makes people feel better. It’s not only an issue of staying informed or up to date. It’s a matter of staying healthy both mentally and physically.
• If you want to build a positive mindset, you can’t do it consuming negative news all the time. It is strongly suggested you stick to the more optimistic topics, allowing yourself to enjoy quality content that doesn’t make you worried, disturbed, or frightened.
• We know that it’s not easy to deal with the harsh reality of modern living, but there is tons of good news everywhere around us, so just pay attention and feel the new wave of positive energy.
Offsetting bad news with good news!!
• Limit the amount of time you follow negative media headlines and stories, and balance what types of media you follow.
• If you’re seeing a lot of negative news, Dr Demaio recommends focusing on the news which makes you happy, or doing other things to occupy your mind. Exercising, catching up with friends, or diving into your hobbies are all great ways to give yourself a boost of happy hormones.
• Control the controllable. It’s important not to get too bogged down about the things that you can’t control.
• The flipside of 'doomscrolling’ which triggers our ‘negative bias’, is that when we see or hear positive news, our bodies produce hormones which make us feel happy.
• All of those happy hormones like dopamine, serotonin and endorphins do the opposite of stress hormones. They bring your blood pressure down, they improve your mental health and they reduce your chances of some chronic diseases.
And this is where a platform like CPN holds a very unique and a high vibrational space, like an island of sanity in the midst of all the hyper sensational deluge and flood of anxiety-inducing news all around us.

The story of Will, a 4 month-old baby whose parents want to ensure he receives Covid vaccine free blood, has gone viral. CPN spoke with sources at NZDSOS:
"If this case can break open the dam of opposition to us as Kiwis having free choice on jabbed or unjabbed blood, then that is a real gash in the government's tyrannical hold over NZ," one source said.
"Sharing and demanding mainstream media cover it, are what are crucial to this being successful," CPN was told.
"The parents are great good people - mum is a midwife mandated out of her job as unvaxxed," said another source.
"Sue Grey is the lawyer - she did a radio interview 👈 this morning. She did such a good job. The interviewer unfortunately so biased and trusting of our 'experts,'" the source continued.
But the campaign is a success. "They [MSM} are reporting it and it’s a BIG discussion," was the conclusion.

Chinese Cities Continue to "Optimize Covid Response" Due to Growing Protests Around the Country 🎉

We previously posted that China has started relaxing zero-Covid restrictions, and China's Xinjiang region is resuming "normal public order" due to growing protests from people, businesses and officials.
Restrictions are lifted in the Chinese City of Guangzhou, and Global Times now reports (Dec 1):
Chinese cities including Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu, where the virus is rife, have continued to optimize their anti-epidemic policies in recent days, with Guangzhou resuming businesses, allowing dine-in services in low-risk areas; and shopping malls gradually opening in Beijing starting Thursday. Some cities have also started to allow close contacts to have home quarantine under certain conditions and exempt some groups from routine nucleic tests.
Chinese Vice Premier Sun Chunlan underlined again on Thursday the importance of continuously optimizing China's response to COVID-19, following similar remarks she made on Wednesday saying the country is facing a new situation.
Epidemiologists said such optimized measures aims to strike a better balance between COVID-19 control and ensuring people's normal lives.
Sun listened to frontline medical workers' opinions and suggestions on improving epidemic containment measures, the Xinhua News Agency reported on Thursday.
Sun noted that having effective medicine, especially traditional Chinese medicine,.. and declining pathogenicity of the Omicron virus, have created the condition for further optimizing COVID-19 responses.
China reported 4,080 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, and 31,720 asymptomatic cases.
Cities such as Guangzhou, Beijing and Chongqing are among the hardest-hit.
Yet those cities are shifting away from using long-term lockdowns to rein in the contagion and are optimizing their COVID-19 responses in line with current conditions.
When some medical resources are partly released by those optimized measures, they can be focused on treating severe cases and pushing forward inoculation, especially among the elderly, Wang Guangfa, a respiratory expert at Peking University First Hospital, told the Global Times on Thursday.
Wang said that China is facing a "severe situation" in battling the COVID-19.
A total of seven deaths triggered by COVID-19 were reported in November, among whom the youngest was 81-year-old. All of them had underlying diseases, media reported.
For those aged 80 and above, about 27.4 million had accepted at least one shot and about 23.6 million completed full vaccinations, accounting for only 76.6 percent and 65.8 percent, respectively, of the whole group, Xia Gang, an official from the national disease control and prevention bureau under the National Health Commission, said at a press conference on Tuesday.
🔆 The Positive Takeaway
The result of such a heavy handed approach to Covid by those claiming authority over us is that they initiated a snowball of global awareness.
In OZ, we now know over 50% of citizens regret taking the Covid-19 vaccine, and more than two thirds are unhappy with the government's "heavy-handed" Covid-19 response.
The U.S. public and Canadians are becoming increasingly anti-mandate and losing faith in government, with 3 out of 4 Canadians saying they have suffered harm in 4 areas: social, economic, health, and freedoms.
50% of the global population now believe our freedoms are being taken away, and we know two thirds of U.S. adults do not intend to have boosters.
People are uniting. The snowball is rolling, and it is unstoppable.

We previously posted that China has started relaxing zero-Covid restrictions, and China's Xinjiang region is resuming "normal public order" due to growing protests from people, businesses and officials.
Restrictions are lifted in the Chinese City of Guangzhou, and Global Times now reports (Dec 1):
Chinese cities including Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu, where the virus is rife, have continued to optimize their anti-epidemic policies in recent days, with Guangzhou resuming businesses, allowing dine-in services in low-risk areas; and shopping malls gradually opening in Beijing starting Thursday. Some cities have also started to allow close contacts to have home quarantine under certain conditions and exempt some groups from routine nucleic tests.
Chinese Vice Premier Sun Chunlan underlined again on Thursday the importance of continuously optimizing China's response to COVID-19, following similar remarks she made on Wednesday saying the country is facing a new situation.
Epidemiologists said such optimized measures aims to strike a better balance between COVID-19 control and ensuring people's normal lives.
Sun listened to frontline medical workers' opinions and suggestions on improving epidemic containment measures, the Xinhua News Agency reported on Thursday.
Sun noted that having effective medicine, especially traditional Chinese medicine,.. and declining pathogenicity of the Omicron virus, have created the condition for further optimizing COVID-19 responses.
China reported 4,080 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, and 31,720 asymptomatic cases.
Cities such as Guangzhou, Beijing and Chongqing are among the hardest-hit.
Yet those cities are shifting away from using long-term lockdowns to rein in the contagion and are optimizing their COVID-19 responses in line with current conditions.
When some medical resources are partly released by those optimized measures, they can be focused on treating severe cases and pushing forward inoculation, especially among the elderly, Wang Guangfa, a respiratory expert at Peking University First Hospital, told the Global Times on Thursday.
Wang said that China is facing a "severe situation" in battling the COVID-19.
A total of seven deaths triggered by COVID-19 were reported in November, among whom the youngest was 81-year-old. All of them had underlying diseases, media reported.
For those aged 80 and above, about 27.4 million had accepted at least one shot and about 23.6 million completed full vaccinations, accounting for only 76.6 percent and 65.8 percent, respectively, of the whole group, Xia Gang, an official from the national disease control and prevention bureau under the National Health Commission, said at a press conference on Tuesday.

The result of such a heavy handed approach to Covid by those claiming authority over us is that they initiated a snowball of global awareness.
In OZ, we now know over 50% of citizens regret taking the Covid-19 vaccine, and more than two thirds are unhappy with the government's "heavy-handed" Covid-19 response.
The U.S. public and Canadians are becoming increasingly anti-mandate and losing faith in government, with 3 out of 4 Canadians saying they have suffered harm in 4 areas: social, economic, health, and freedoms.
50% of the global population now believe our freedoms are being taken away, and we know two thirds of U.S. adults do not intend to have boosters.
People are uniting. The snowball is rolling, and it is unstoppable.
