Рок и метал музыка с давних времён шла рука об руку с мотокультурой. Впрочем, любая субкультура сюда подходит, но именно мотоциклы идеально подчеркивают образ жизни рокера. Свободный, громкий, любящий риск и склонный сбиваться в стаи единомышленников. Вот и рок-звезды полюбили такой вид транспорта, зачастую как элемент имиджа, а не как, собственно, транспортное средство. Некоторые из них даже и не катались на байках, но имели их у себя в коллекции или использовали в клипах и на выступлениях
