The vulnerability is linked to how LND processes the description field of lightning invoices, potentially allowing hackers to remotely manipulate payment statuses and steal funds. Satoshi Labs co-founder Pavol Rusnak also highlighted this issue, urging Lightning Network users to promptly update their node software.
