This 24-hour imagery from the Solar Ultraviolet Imager (#SUVI) onboard @NOAA's #GOESEast π°οΈ shows the #SolarFilament eruption that brought the aurora to the northern U.S. last night rippling off the face of the sun on Sept. 16.
It's still eclipse season for the GOES satellites, spot the dark "flash" of the satellite passing into the Earth's shadow.
