Ash emitted by a volcano is difficult to see at night. If dense enough, it can be hazardous for aviation and even marine traffic nearby. The Dust Composite satellite imagery from last night, indicated an #ash plume (bright purple) emitted by #Popocatepetl in central Mexico.
