To our #Boulder friends:
We expect increased activity at the Mesa Lab as we host a viewing for the #SolarEclipse. If you’re planning to hike the nearby Boulder Open Space hiking trails, there could be limited parking. Activities are planned from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

#DYK that today’s #SolarEclipse can alter the #weather? ☀️😎
Scientists at @NOAA GSL are calculating how much the moon will block incoming solar radiation, which impacts heating of the Earth and therefore the weather.

A stunning view of the partial #SolarEclipse from space! 🌒
Captured by @eumetsat's Meteosat-12 satellite, you can see the Moon’s shadow sweeping across Earth btwn 06:00 - 12:30 UTC 🛰
Unlike a total eclipse, part of the Sun remained visible - did you catch it from the ground?👀 https://t.co/wQ9CmB2JMI
