Trump's Ukraine envoy Keith Kellogg plans to visit Belarus in the coming days to meet President Alexander Lukashenko.

If confirmed, it would mark the highest-level U.S. visit to Belarus in years.

Kellogg views the visit as a potential step toward reviving peace talks regarding the war in Ukraine.

The last major U.S. visit to Belarus was by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in 2020, during Trump’s first term.
