An agreement was reached where the SDF would withdraw from Dayr Hafir and Maskaneh, which resulted in the succesful and smooth withdrawal from the aforementioned areas. However, upon reaching the area of Dibsi Afnan, an incident occurred. SDF says the Syrian Army continued to advance beyond what was agreed upon, and it resulted in clashes. Syrian government says rogue elements of the SDF launched an attack on Syrian Army positions.
In either case, this resulted in the scope of the operation widening to include all areas south and west of the Euphrates.
SAA units advanced towards Tabqa and the airbase from the south and west, while an advance occurred on the Resafa axis from the south, and further advances on the Ghanem Ali axis were launched from the east. Tribal uprisings were recorded in Tabqa city which further complicated SDF defense of the city, including tribal fighters seizing the south side of the Tabqa Dam from the SDF. Tribal uprisings were also reported in Safsafsah and Khudajran on the north side of the Euphrates, with both villages coming under local control. After brief and sporadic clashes, the entire southern bank of the Euphrates was brought under SAA control, with the two enbankment dams and their bridges also coming under SAA control, and reports of clashes on the bridge leading into Raqqa city. Also reported was mass defections of SDF fighters and SDF-affiliated tribes to the Syrian government.
Meanwhile, there were revolts launched by Arab tribal fighters on the north side of the Euphrates with clashes reported in Raqqa City, and several villages to the west of Raqqa city were captured by local forces aligned with the Syrian government. In Deir ez-Zor, the situation is even more critical as Arab tribal fighters launched an uprising in the reegion of Dhiban and Gharanij. The SDF initially abandoned their positions in the area, but reinforcements arrived for a counterattack. Still, the Arab tribals managed to seize a few villages and are calling on the government to cross the river in support of the revolt, and reports emerged of Syrian government soldiers crossing the river and being present in Gharanij.

🇺🇸 - The riots and mobs in Minneapolis have escalated today with more violence and lawlessness highlighted in the capture and beating of right-winger Jake Lang. The mob acted in conjunction with past behavior, as seen in riots across the city this past week
While these sensational videos emerging from the riot were published throughout the day on social media, there has been little response from public officials, including the MPD, the Minnesota National Guard, or even federal enforcement.
Once there is a comment from public officials, the Rerum Novarum team will cover the response to the riots today, including the attachment of the most relevant videos from the mob attack and aftermath.
