We are especially excited about two new partnerships for our US Government partners
1) a new contract from the US Department of Defense
2) our products being available to purchase via the General Services Administration (GSA) schedule. This allows every federal government department, agency, or office, to purchase xAI products
📝 Apple Lamps: The U.S. Department of Defense's Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) has awarded contracts (up to $200M each) to frontier AI companies Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, and xAI to develop advanced AI workflows for national security missions.
This aims to leverage cutting-edge AI tech and talent to enhance warfighter support, intelligence, and enterprise systems, while accelerating DoD's commercial-first AI adoption.

Former Vice President Mike Pence says he thinks isolationists “may have lost some of their footing” in President Donald Trump’s administration, as he praised Trump’s tougher talk toward Russia’s Vladimir Putin and his decision to bomb Iranian nuclear facilities.
Pence, since his split with Trump after the 2020 election, has often criticized the president’s approach to Russia and his tepid support for Ukraine.
But he told CNN’s Kate Bolduan in an interview Thursday he hopes Trump is “starting to recognize” that Putin is not interested in a negotiated end to the war he started in Ukraine. And he praised Trump’s decision this week to reverse his administration’s pause on some weapons shipments to Ukraine, including air defense missiles.
Pence said that Trump “is not an isolationist.”

Al Shabaab’s gains are a strategic setback and set conditions for the group to increase pressure along the Ethiopian border.
Al Shabaab captured Moqokori on July 7, a district capital that sits on a network of roads connecting several areas within central Somalia.
Somali forces captured Moqokori and several other district capitals in 2022 as part of a landmark Somali-led, US-backed offensive.
Al Shabaab has reversed these gains throughout 2025 and will likely target Mahas in the coming days and weeks if it holds Moqokori.
Mahas would be the first major town that al Shabaab has captured in central Somalia in 2025 that it did not control before 2022.
The group’s gains have relinked al Shabaab–controlled territory in central & southern Somalia.
The gains also set conditions to increase the frequency and severity of attacks on major government-controlled towns across central Somalia, including along the Ethiopian border.
Increased al Shabaab activity on the Ethiopian border poses a direct threat to Ethiopia. Al Shabaab invaded Ethiopia from central Somalia in early 2022 as part of its first-ever offensive into Ethiopia.
The Somali Federal Government’s losses are a strategic setback.
The reversal of the 2022 offensive undermines domestic trust in the SFG and the SFG's international credibility.

3.) paying $200-300k per software engineer, critical employees
4.) Capping workers at 40-50 hours per week so they have enough time to breed.

4 NGOs: ELENA France, Ligue des droits de l’homme, La Cimade défense des droits des étrangers en France and GISTI, Groupe d'information et de soutien des immigrés sued the French state after a decision to deny asylum to a Gazan woman and her child last year.
Yesterday the National Court for the Right to Asylum (CNDA) with its 9 judges struck down the decision to reject the asylum claims and granted asylum rights to the woman and her child.
4 NGOs and 9 judges is all it took to open the gates for Israel to deport ~1.5 million Palestinians still left alive in Gaza and soon enough, these remainder ~4 million other Palestinian Arabs in the West Bank.
Once they receive French IDs thanks to the Schengen Area free travel association and EU customs union, these 1.5 million Gazans will be free to move and settle in any country within the European Union of their liking.
Not only that, due to the EU’s regulations of equality of citizenship, with French IDs, these Palestinians will be allowed to run for office not just in France but in other European countries. They could for example, run for mayor in Germany with a French ID card and it would be perfectly legal.

Beijing and Moscow are drawing closer amid ultimatums, The Telegraph reports.
After President Trump warned of possible 100% tariffs on Russia’s trade partners unless Moscow makes concessions, China signaled it would not abandon its support for the Kremlin.
Chinese leader Xi Jinping, during a meeting with Lavrov, said that trust between the two countries has “deepened” and that they are “building a new type of international relations” in which they must “strengthen mutual support.”
The Kremlin did not ignore Trump’s statement. Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov said that if the West does not respond to Russia’s “readiness to negotiate,” Moscow will continue pursuing its goals through the “special military operation.”
Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov went even further, claiming sanctions mean nothing to Russia.
“There are already an unprecedented number of sanctions against us — we’re managing. I have no doubt we’ll continue to cope. Knowing our partners, I don’t see how they could abandon their independent policy. They have commitments,” Lavrov said.
