🇲🇽 Anonymous: They also attacked Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato's capital and Leon. Hah, the president called the events a "protest". It’s only happening in states that aren't voting in favor of AMLO's Morena movement. The bots on Twitter are saying this is on the opposition, but we know the 2024 election race is off. So it wouldn’t be surprising to see the cartels making move. Also there’s dozens of national guard/army bases in the bajio area, Guanajuato and they do nothing. I saw UNAM and the Guanajuato university decided to suspend classes because of this crisis. What’s amazing is that life just goes on. Anyone reasonable would expect a major strategy to stop the ones who did this. To never allow such terrorism to happen again. But nope, it’s Wednesday, life goes on.
The divisive rethoric of our president of brown vs white people, oppressed vs privileged etc, is the perfect storm for people not giving a fuck about it. I saw a white foreign couple last weekend, they seemed innocent. They are not prepared for this mess.
In Mexico City, whites live in the most expensive areas, the American/European ones are remotely working and people hate them. But the generalized feeling is that they’re the worst and must leave. It's always the same terms, White privilege, Gentrification, Segregation. They just absolutely hate Americans, Europeans, White/Whiter Mexicans.
They say: “Normalize treating gringos and Europeans who clearly are living here EXTREMELY BAD, insult them, don’t answer to them, etc. people who put Latinos in cages and come here to raise our rents”
This hatred towards a lot of things is spreading so fast and so quickly, it’s getting to the point where people hate anyone who’s whiter because yea that means you’re also doing all that was just mentioned.
It’s getting extremely out of hand, just one month ago a guy threw a rock against a “privileged family” here in the city and almost killed the kid. Why? Because they were a white family having breakfast at a terrace, that was it. And that’s the incredible thing, the society is swallowing every bit of all this hatred and making it of it’s own. People pay WAAAYYY more attention to that than to cartel violence, general mismanagement crisis stuff. I had to get used to people saying right at my face (from probably 2020 til now) things like “I fucking hate white people”, “whites suck”, Whites are horrible etc.
Even one compulsory conference I had to go to speaking of LGBTQ+ stuff that was literally all about how “we must stop white gays from being everywhere and taking, they have to shut up, sit down and stop doing anything considered gay because it doesn’t belong to them”. This intense hatred is real, my brother also recently went through something like that. He went to a friend's birthday celebration and the friend's family questioned why he hangs out with white people.
There are already constant reactions by white Mexicans demanding an end to discrimination and everyone just laughs. “Are you saying inverse racism exists?”, “Shut up you privileged, it’s not racism when a brown says it to a white” “whitexican is not discrimination, it’s just saying what you are”, “The whiteness in these privileged people thinking they’re being discriminated”, Things like that etc.
The hatred, division and anger is deepening FAST, it’s very serious. I don’t know where is this gonna end, probably with white people protecting themselves because this treatment and harrassment won't stop.

Now, the Justice Department has asked a court to unseal the search warrant the FBI received before searching the Florida estate of former President Donald Trump, Garland said Thursday.
Before Garland's remarks, there had been no high-level comment from the Justice Department since federal agents spent most of the day Monday at Trump’s winter home, reportedly retrieving documents and even opening a safe.
The FBI search was part of an investigation into whether the former president took classified records from the White House to his Florida residence. While Republicans have rallied behind Trump, very few facts about the case have been released publicly.
Trump's attorneys have so far declined to release details from the search warrant, and the former president – who was in New York at the time of the search – has suggested on social media that agents could have been planting evidence at his home.
A spokesperson for the vacationing President Biden later told reporters that the president was not informed ahead of the search.

Farmison & Co has issued the stark warning as the nation's cattle farmers faces unprecedented pressures due to rising costs.
One of the firm's long-term beef suppliers, David Harrison from Grewelthorpe, said that for the first time in his life, he would get more money for selling a cow at auction for slaughter rather than for breeding.
John Pallagi, CEO of Farmison & Co, said it was a "remarkable and potentially devastating development".
“If it continues then up and down the country, farmers and producers will be incentivised to sell off their breading stock for meat, never to calve again.
“It speaks to the huge and risings costs involved in farming right now that the long-term prospects of making a profit on new members of the herd are becoming more remote, and producers are simply selling up. It is unprecedented in modern times.”
