The victory is one of the most stunning in the history of the Kentucky Derby as little was expected of a horse that went off at 80-1 odds. According to NBC, Rich Strike is the second-biggest long shot to ever win the Kentucky Derby.

🏳 The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan announced a decree which orders afghan women, even those in Kabul to cover themselves from head to toe in public, according to a statement from the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs.

The ruling was delayed for a while to maybe sway the western sanctions away, but as Taliban sees no hope of sanctions being lifted, they are paving towards the more traditional laws which are considered extreme for western eyes. Most taliban factions who wanted to show a "new taliban" image are fed up as it is leading to nothing. For that reason the so-called "extreme factions" inside taliban are winning.

🏳 The Vice and Virtue Ministry unveiled a draft law on Hijab on Saturday which has been approved and implemented by the Supreme leader  Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Amir Al-Momineen.
In this depiction, any garment covering the body of a woman is considered a hijab, provided that it is not too tight to represent the body parts nor is it thin enough to reveal the body.
Says Minister Khalid that the burka is the best type of Hijab “as it is part of Afghan culture and it has been used for ages.”
According to the government’s plan on women’s hijab, in the first phase, the media, and preachers will talk about the rules, importance, and virtue of the Hijab as well as the drawbacks of not wearing a Hijab.
In the second phase, the house of the unveiled woman will be targeted and her guardian will be advised and disciplined.
