"The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing near the Abbey Gate at Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport in Afghanistan."
Translation:
About 160 US soldiers and collaborators were killed and wounded in a martyrdom (suicide) attack carried out by the Islamic State near Kabul Airport.
(Picture of martyr Abdul Rahman al-Logari, who was martyred near the Kabul Airport.)
KABUL, AFGHANISTAN - Amaq News Agency: Dozens of American soldiers and contractors have been killed and wounded. Sources tell Amaq News Agency that a fighter from the Islamic State managed to penetrate all the security fortifications of US forces and the Taliban militia.
The fighter reached a large gathering of translators and others who had collaborated with the US military, at the Baron Hotel near Kabul Airport. There, he detonated his explosive belt. As a result, about 60 collaborators were killed and more than 100 others were wounded, including Taliban fighters.
The fighter managed to reach a distance of no more than five meters from the American forces who were supervising the checkpoint. More than 20 US soldiers were killed and wounded.

Taliban Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid in a voice message to Radio Pakistan has confirmed that 13 people were killed & sixty others injured in blasts at Kabul International Airport today
U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell: It is sickening and enraging to hear that at least 12 U.S. servicemembers have been killed at the hands of terrorists in Kabul. We need to redouble our global efforts to confront these barbarian enemies who want to kill Americans and attack our homeland.

Veteran Anon: #commentary
Biden should have pulled everyone out by July 4th and Bagram Base should have been last. Instead of leaving Rangers at the Kabul airport. Bagram was defensible, reinforced, surrounded by walls to protect and reduce blasts. Bagram was outside of urban areas, had a large runway. Instead, the decision was to use Kabul, a dense urban area where our evac route had no prepared defenses. If anything they should of moved the embassies of multiple countries to Bagram (because it was a NATO base), to the HQ or the myrid of empty buildings. Bagram shouldn't have been abandoned in a country that everyone knew was going to fall. Bagram was the main logistics base, a base designed for logistics and transportation. Should of used said logistics transportation and the housing for 100k people while the base only had 3k on it to vet, process and exfiltrate people starting in april when announced. Not that 100k refugees should have been evacuated, I'm just explaining how it could have been better. They should of had the embassy fall back to the HQ on base and gave everyone 90 days to arrive, military and diplomatic staff should of been last out. We processed out all the fobs before we left, literally could of just had all americans make way to the base. But like everything it was a half measure, they could of yeeted out the embassy when we left. Instead of moving the rangers to defend Kabul. Using Bagram instead of the Kabul airport is sort of like chopping down a bridge in advance of retreating across a river. The Base built to house, supply, maintian and feed tens of thousands with a well defended runway meant for the largest of planes capable of loading and unloaded tens of planes at the same time. Bagram is capable of C5s, a C-5 can carry 350 people plus equipment, six UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters, and six M2 Bradley fighting vehicles. While they were fitting 700? people on c-17's in Kabul, I'm sure the c5 could make that look like rookie numbers. It would of looked bad to abandon kabul I'll admit, but everyone knows it was doomed.

Metamodernity in Crisis - THE WARDEN POST
Metamodernity in Crisis The word “modernity” is something of a shibboleth in Rightist circles, as it is almost always used as a byword for everything debauched, depraved, degenerate or, put quite simply, not traditional. In fact, the Right has defined its…

PSA: We are looking to get a children book project off the ground.
They will be structured to be pro European ancestry, pro family and wholesome (picturing large families with pets living in rural settings) and to promote virtue & traditional family values in our children.
It will NOT be anti any group but it WILL be explicitly pro us and pro family (something which is very much underserved in this area of publishing).
It will be for no pay at the beginning with the goal of paying royalties to the contributors when sales of the project takes off. It will be a tangible product we want to bring to market not an ‘online publication’. The margins are incredible with 10 page colorful books going to $10-$30 each. Hopefully they will be highly sought after in a world where currently every children’s book is filled with . . . . Let’s just say, less than wholesome traditional family values.
We need certain skill sets, here are a few:
Cartoonist or artist that can render wholesome family activities and playtime (it can be cartoonish or literal representations)
Someone or some people in the publishing space that knows potential pitfalls and solutions to overcome them.
We are bringing writers and a bit financial backing for the right team.
If you’d like to be added please reply to this post and PM me @Jack_H_Son with examples of your work and your background if you’d like to be involved.
We don’t need a large team for this to work but a strong one with values that align with ours.
Thank you

While the suspicion that the U.S. has a destabilizing influence around Afghanistan is not ill-founded. This does however, revolve around groups other than ISKP. Instead, this CIA glowOP theory would probably make more sense with the indian-backed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). The BLA, which is an ethnic secessionist movement, presents a constant threat to Chinese interests in the region.
