The current situation changes the rationale for the partnership between the US and the SDF. The greatest opportunity for the Kurds in Syria now lies under the new government led by President al-Sharaa.

The original purpose of the SDF as a primary force to combat ISIS has ended.

The United States does not want a long-term military presence in Syria.

The priority is supporting reconciliation in Syria and strengthening unity without supporting separatism or federalism. The separation of the Kurds from Syria could lead to the return of ISIS or further destabilization.

⚡️🇺🇸🇮🇱❌🇮🇷 - The USAF has announced the arrival of "F-15E Strike Eagle" aircrafts, landing at an undisclosed base in the Middle East, on the 18th of January.

As previously posted, the Jets landed at the "Muwaffaq Salti" Air Base in Jordan, and were assigned to the "494th" Expeditionary Fighter Squadron.

The USAF stated that the presence of these aircrafts "enhances combat readiness and promotes regional security and stability".
