China Builds 16 New High-Altitude Bases to Dominate India Border
China is rapidly expanding high-altitude military infrastructure on the Tibetan plateau, according to a Wall Street Journal analysis of 100+ satellite images.
Beijing has built or upgraded at least 16 airfields and heliports, many above 14,000 feet, with runways up to 14,850 feet long and over 70 hardened aircraft shelters under construction.
These “dual-use” airports host fighter jets, heavy transport aircraft, and multiple drone types, including Sharp Sword, Soaring Dragon, CH-4 and CH-5 drones.
The expansion gives China faster ability to surge troops and equipment along its contested border with India and maintain persistent intelligence coverage of the region’s terrain and Indian military sites.
Aircraft crews face extreme altitude challenges — sickness, oxygen shortages, and dangerous wind patterns — but China is investing heavily in specialized training for “Plateau Eagles” and increasing reliance on unmanned systems.
Nepal has claimed several areas of India on the map printed on its new 100-rupee note.
This act is absolutely unacceptable. The Modi government should respond to Nepal in a strong tone on this matter.
Today, the entire country is bearing the consequences of the Modi government's failed foreign policy. Sometimes China claims Arunachal Pradesh as its own, and sometimes Nepal includes Indian territories in its map.
This shows that the Modi government has only engaged in showmanship under the name of foreign policy. S. Jaishankar has made laser lights come out of his eyes, and Narendra Modi has had photos taken in various new poses.

In Nawada, Bihar, Mohammad Athar Hussain was brutally murdered.
Before the murder, his pants were pulled down to check whether he was Muslim or not. Then he was beaten with a hot rod, and his head was smashed with the rod.
His ears were cut with a sharp weapon. Some were breaking his fingers, while others were choking him by pressing on his chest. Even petrol was poured into his private parts.
Due to this horrific torture, Athar Hussain died. The culprits of this incident must be given the strictest punishment.
This incident is a stain on society. It is the result of BJP's hateful politics, under whose influence people are forgetting humanity and committing such atrocities.
The hateful ideology of BJP and RSS has caused great harm to the country.
