Tech stocks drop this morning with the exception of a few big tech names including NVDA, MSFT and GOOGL in premarket this morning. Prices got very close to the summer highs around $20,700s but came back today. ADP came in hotter than expected and GOOGL beat earnings last night. GDP was a miss but revisions showed improvement from the previous month. NAS’s score dropped by 1 point this morning due to a trend reading calculation.

Scores on the S&P dropped again as a result of lower trend reading numbers on the 1D timeframe. Price's gap lower on the morning was a result of big tech selling off with earnings news. MSFT and META are indicating that AI infrastructure and development will get very costly as we approach 2025.

Today's NFP report came out the worst it has been since 2021 COVID crisis. It's hard to trust the Bureau of Labor Statistics on what a real NFP is because they are constantly getting numbers wrong, but 12K jobs added is a significant decline. Revisions were also down from last month's actual which suggests that we are heading in the wrong direction given how inflation has been sticky.
Now the Fed has to hope inflation comes down after their cut in interest rates by 50 bps. If not, we could be introducing the same stagflation issue that investors feared earlier this year
