The net long bias on gold is showing growth from last week even though smart money is increasing their long positions on both USD and the metal. Meanwhile, the SPX500 and NAS100 saw pretty clear short sentiment from last week's report. Euro is increasingly shorter this week while CAD picked up a substantial amount of longs.

CAD/CHF Analysis
CAD-Swiss catches some resistance on the 1D timeframe, but a break above this could indicate a higher move. CAD has been gaining some traction for the past month or so. And as we approach a crucial interest rate decision, this pair could catch another pop. Although stuck in a long term downtrend, investors should watch whether or not the BOC decides to hike or stay. Recent CPI suggests that the BOC may want to hike one more time, but forecasts are unchanged.

Gold Analysis
Gold bounces from a long term trend line on the 1D timeframe and is hovering around break even today. Analysts are highly anticipating a pause in USD rate hikes for the month of June, although the dollar is reacting bullishly. Recent economic news could be putting pressure on the gold market right now after high NFP numbers came out last Friday. However, Smart money is becoming increasingly bullish as it is now the most longed pair on the tracker.

Gold running hot so far! Looking for a push above $1966 to adjust stops & lock in profits.
