Bitcoin Daily Chart:

Sellers hold strong at resistance at around 92k.

Bitcoin in the past few months has been a classic example of a buy the rumor, sell the news (to the common man) story.

To clarify: I am not a crypto hater. Long term I think crypto goes higher. But - in the meantime, we're purging the retail crowd - and it's a painful lesson to those who leveraged heavy / chased all time highs with no risk management.

I think there is a good chance we see bitcoin back at 72.5k, where you have long term support.

But - with sticky inflation + slowing economic growth metrics, stagflation is NOT what a high risk asset like Bitcoin wants to see.

I will wait for macro to look a bit better before trading it. - Nick

CLOSED FOR PROFIT! About a 70 pip profit closed. 🔥

I'm all out of USD/CAD on today's massive spike higher.

This was not my prettiest trade, as it went into drawdown almost immediately.

With the pop today, I'm taking profits and moving on - as I am not nearly as bullish on the USD as I once was, with several key economic data points (including manufacturing PMIs) missing analyst forecasts recently.

I'll take the small winner, and move on to the next 🙂
