The tzaddikim righteous ones are listening to the yetzer tov, the good inclination.

Not only are they listening to the words of the Torah, the yetzer tov reinforces the Torah and reinforces things that are not written in the Torah. מכוח סברה הוא ולמה לי קרה?!

Common sense is before and foundational to the the bible talmud and Halacha of jewish laws and customs, as it says in the Mishna in Avos, that the ways of the earth precedes that of the bible דרך ארץ קדמה לתורה!

* בברייתא מובא שאם עבד בעל חיים של חברו, הבעל חיים מותר אף לגבוה, והגמרא מקשה על כך מברייתא שממנה משתמע שאסור, והגמרא מביאה שני תירוצים (של רמי בר חמא ושל חזקיה).
* לדעת רבא: עבודה זרה בפרהסיא - אסורה אפילו באונס.
* אף על פי שאמרו שהמשתחווה לבהמת חברו - לא אסרה, אבל אם עשה בה מעשה (כדי לעובדה) - אסרה.

דף נד עמוד ב
* אף על פי שאמרו המשתחווה לקרקע עולם - לא אסרה, אבל אם חפר בה בורות שיחין ומערות (לעבודה זרה) - אסרה.
* אף על פי שאמרו המשתחווה לבעלי חיים - לא אסרן, אבל אם עשאן חליפין לעבודת כוכבים - אסרן (ונחלקו האמוראים אם גם חליפי חליפין אסורים, והגמרא מבררת את טעמיהם).
* ערלה וכלאי הכרם - אם מכרם וקידש אשה בדמיהם, מקודשת.
* במשנה ובברייתא מבואר מדוע אין הקב"ה מאבד את העבודה הזרה מן העולם.
* אמר הקב"ה: לא דיין לרשעים שעושין סלע שלי פומבי, אלא שמטריחין אותי ומחתימין אותי בעל כרחי.
