'If that's too easy, you could try joining Tautology Club, which meets on the date of the Tautology Club meeting.'
'Due to a typo, I initially found a forum for serious Fleshlight enthusiasts, and it turns out their highest-end models are ALSO capable of setting trees on fire. They're impossible to use without severe burns, but some of them swear it's worth it.'
'The last band of color indicates the snake's tolerance for being held before biting.'
'Researchers just found the gene responsible for mistakenly thinking we've found the gene for specific things. It's the region between the start and the end of every chromosome, plus a few segments in our mitochondria.'
'You know what they say--if you don't like the weather here in the Solar System, just wait five billion years.'
'Writing for the majority, Justice Kennedy called the man's arguments that he could be either Alito or Ginsburg "surprisingly compelling, but ultimately unconvincing."'
Even though I normally don't do these messages; today, Randall Munroe (the man behind xkcd) released his new book: Thing Explainer.
I (a random xkcd fan) take his comics and share them for you (legally! Randall releases his comics under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 2.5 License), so I thought I'd even the balance and give him some free promotion!
You can read more about his book "Thing Explainer" here:
http://blog.xkcd.com/2015/05/13/new-book-thing-explainer/
It's a book filled with "Up Goer Five"-like pictures (see http://m.xkcd.com/1133/) that explain complex stuff in simple words. I know I'm going to get it, and you should too!
Also I would like to thank you all for reaching the leet-milestone. This channel just (like, a few minutes ago) passed 1337 members! Hurray! š
Don't expect more of these updates from me, I'll stick to just posting comics for the forseeable future. Have a good day! :)

xkcd
New book: Thing Explainer
A while ago, I posted the comic Up Goer Five, an annotated blueprint of the Saturn V rocket with all the parts described using only the thousand most common English words. Today, Iām excited ā¦
Sneaky, tiny update, even though I said I wouldn't do these for a while:
Starting this Friday, all comics (except special ones like todays interactive comic) will be automatically posted by @xkcdchannelbot instead of by me so broadcasts will be more regular and a lot faster.
This bot does not read messages and it only posts in this channel, so there is no need to add it to your own channel or group.
If all goes well you should be one of the first in the world to be notified of the new xkcd comics (assuming there will be a new xkcd comic and the world doesn't end). Let's hope it doesn't end in this: https://m.xkcd.com/1319/ (:
I'll be quiet now, I swear!
