According to the reviews, HotSpot Sensor on NVIDIA RTX 5090 wasn't working (showing consistent 255, which is the maximum number for this type of variables).
It's crucial to know this temperature — it can be significantly higher than average after 2-3 years of usage and raising difference can help in malfunction detection.
By this sensor I detected that my 3060 Ti required thermal paste replacement half a year ago (while the average was fairly low, the HotSpot reached 104).
It's possible that 5090 doesn't have this sensor at all or it has been deactivated by NVIDIA for some reason. GPUZ creators said that this sensor is fully removed from all RTX50 cards.
