There's a hidden feature in Chromium-based browsers, cutting the cache size limit. You can add a simple line into the shortcut (after the address of the exe) and it will cut into any reasonable byte-size value. Here's 4GB:
I found out that my browser consumed 24GB of cache with every single website I ever visited in 3 years holding about 100Mb of space for no good reason.
Out of the box it only checks if your C drive is big. If so, it believes that any size is a good size. Up to 10% of the main drive can be allocated, which is not beneficial in most cases.
