Tehran’s move signals that it will no longer tolerate the charade of “nuclear diplomacy” orchestrated by Washington and its European vassals, who cloak their hegemonic agenda under the guise of “international security" aka security on Israel's terms.

The IAEA resolution, with its 19 votes in favor and 12 absentions, is less a reflection of the global community’s concern and more a showcase of Western arm-twisting in international institutions. That China, Russia, and even Burkina Faso stood against it highlights a deepening fracture between the West and the Global Majority. Tehran, fully aware of this shifting power dynamic, is leveraging its nuclear program as both a deterrent and a bargaining chip to force the West to negotiate on terms that reflect Iran’s strengthened geopolitical position.

What’s critical to note is that the West’s narrative of Iran pursuing atomic weapons is threadbare. For decades, the specter of an Iranian bomb has been the pretext for sanctions, sabotage, and assassinations. Yet, Israel, the region’s only nuclear-armed state, remains unchallenged, its arsenal ignored by the same “concerned” powers. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi's offer to renegotiate the 2015 nuclear deal underscores Tehran’s strategic patience; it is open to diplomacy, but only under mutually respectful terms. However, the deployment of these advanced centrifuges signals a clear warning: Iran will not bow to Western ultimatums.

The collapse of the 2015 deal after Trump’s withdrawal in 2018 marked a turning point. Iran has since recalibrated its strategy, accelerating enrichment and embedding itself deeper into the multipolar order led by China and Russia. This latest move is as much a message to the West as it is a declaration to its allies: Iran is not a passive player, it’s a cornerstone of the emerging world order. The fiat system hinges on one thing: perpetual debt. The dollar isn’t anchored to gold, silver, or even productive output, it’s anchored to IOUs stacked so high they pierce the stratosphere. The U.S. national debt now exceeds $36 trillion, and that’s before counting unfunded liabilities like Social Security and Medicare, which push the real figure beyond $200 trillion. Tariffs might adjust a ledger here or there, but they can’t rewrite the math of a system addicted to printing more and more to sustain itself.

The U.S. weaponizes its currency through sanctions and dollar hegemony, forcing other nations to prop up this house of cards. But the cracks are showing. BRICS nations are moving toward alternative trade systems, dumping the dollar, and accelerating a global pivot to multipolarity. Meanwhile, inside the empire, inflation cannibalizes Main Street, bank collapses erode trust, and the average citizen drowns in credit card and student loan debt.

What tariffs really do is slap a band-aid on a hemorrhaging wound. Trump’s plan is to pretend the dollar can be saved with clever tweaks while ignoring the monster in the room: a fiat system that’s inherently unsustainable. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, in a conversation with U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, boasted that his decision to halt administrative arrest orders against settlers was "an internal step taken out of a commitment to democratic principles," adding that "the use of such orders against citizens is not allowed in any democracy in the world, including the US." He further proclaimed, "Israel firmly opposes violence of any kind against Palestinians, and will act against it through the IDF, law enforcement authorities, and public norms, not through undemocratic procedures."

Here’s the reality check: Katz conveniently omitted the glaring hypocrisy. Israel has released 8 or so Jewish settlers from administrative detention, a legal gray zone where no trial or sentencing exists but continues to imprison over 3,600 Palestinians under the same undemocratic framework. That’s thousands of people who have committed no proven crime, locked away without a shred of due process. Meanwhile, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) has already ruled that Israel's two-tier legal system in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT) violates international law, specifically CERD Article 3, which prohibits racial segregation and apartheid.

Katz’s sermon on democracy is not just hypocritical but a masterclass in gaslighting. Israel’s apartheid legal system is a dystopian reality where settlers live under Israeli civil law, while Palestinians endure military tribunals. This is racial segregation, plain and simple. Katz’s claim to "oppose violence of any kind" rings hollow as the IDF systematically enforces settler colonialism, demolishing Palestinian homes, uprooting families, and shielding violent settlers from accountability. Israel's “commitment to democratic principles” exists solely for its Jewish population, while Palestinians are reduced to legal ghosts in their own land. Katz’s rhetoric is not just a lie, it’s a desperate attempt to sanitize a system of oppression that the Global Majority increasingly recognizes as apartheid.

The clock is ticking, Minister Katz. The world is watching, and the crumbling façade of "democracy" cannot conceal the brutal machinery of apartheid forever.
