The strike was the promised demonstrative response to the permission for Kiev to use long-range weapons on Russian territory. Especially in the context of the notorious 'red lines,' the use of the Oreshnik IRBM became a resonating event for the entire world. On the other hand, the late demonstration did not impress the foe. And so, last night the ATACMS use in #Kursk region is reported.

🔸Against the background of our nuclear doctrine the basis for a new escalation of the conflict between has been created.

⚔️At the Front, another general, Anashkin, was fired for false reports in #Seversk sector. Yet, they report his alleged transfer to a military university as manager, which may indicate the continuation of a harmful policy within the MoD, sending faulty generals to organise the training.

🔹In #Kursk region, Gerasimov's promise to knock the foe out continues. However, fast statements to quickly oust have lost their military sense. The AFU have brought in the best units and equipment, which allows them to be destroyed with FABs on an industrial scale. Particularly interesting against the backdrop of regular data from frontliners about the schedule for the liberation of villages and the decisions of the legendary 810th Guards Marine Brigade command, which are not always clear to them. However, the RFAF have reduced the foe's presence.

🔹In the #Kupyansk, #Toretsk and #ChasovYar directions, the RFAF retain the initiative. In bloody battles ours are gnawing away at the foe's occupied territory.

🔹In #Kurakhovo direction, the most striking successes are noted, where the AFU garrisons are being captured. In #Kurakhovo itself, our forward units have already made their mark in the central part of the town. Along the Sukhiye Yaly River, the 20th MRD and cooperating units have achieved success in #Ilyinka. Foe commanders ordered their worn out units not to withdraw, despite our superiority.

🔹On the #Vremyevka ledge, ours, with a flank attack from the east, render the AFU fortifications useless and gradually push the foe, who was previously preparing for attacks from the south, to the west. Such a maneuver makes the foe's already thin support forces useless. However, Far Eastern warriors traditionally maintain a stoic silence until the villages are completely liberated.

🔹The #Zaporozhye front is in motion, taking away km after km from the AFU, striving for #Orekhov and its flanks.

🔹In #Kherson direction, only regimental cats are not discussing further development. The Dnieper will be forced in any case, the question is the specific timing and direction of our breakthrough.

🔸On the international arena military preparations of #NATO countries for further big war with #Russia are noted. Operatives in #Belarus have received reliable information about planning an invasion from different sides and in the edge of comrade Lukashenko, which now, again according to the new Nuclear Doctrine falls under the conditions of the beginning of Armageddon from our side.

🔸Deployment of western plants, missile defence, development of ways to bring troops to the eastern front continues. None of the real actions of #US vassals indicate any intention to 'freeze' the conflict.

📌 Thus, the war has reached a new level. The telling but belated use of Oreshnik was an important international event designed to bring back the notion of #Russia's determination to defend herself by any means necessary. Such drastic actions might have influenced the #West's willingness to help the Kiev Regime, but only at the beginning of the war. Right now, however, 'Nutshell' has at best played into the hands of Trump, who hopes to redirect #US billions in military and technical aid in favour of #Israel. Heavy fighting continues in #Ukraine and the territories of Russian regions occupied by the foe.

Let's continue our review of the US Army and Special Operations Forces manual on using OSINT and GEOINT for military purposes. I would like to add a small remark that the Americans have previously used open sources in intelligence, but such detailed manuals have not been noted before. With the development of social networks and AI, their importance has increased so much, which is demonstrated in this multi-page manual.

The second chapter is devoted to the planning of the intelligence process by Civil Affairs (CA) units, as an important necessity for the methodical collection and analysis of open source data, which consists of several consecutive points:

1. Task planning, i.e. military personnel or civilian personnel are assigned directions in which they should work and search for the necessary information.

2. Then commanders who are interested in receiving up-to-date information define the issues that interest them, while necessarily taking into account the possible risks when conducting reconnaissance activities. Apparently, we are talking about using civilians to observe the area of ​​interest.

3. One of the main aspects for these units is called the assessment of the influence of terrain, weather conditions and enemy tactics in the area of ​​assignment. This probably concerns primarily infantry units and special forces units that operate on combat missions.

4. The command also requires that analysis be conducted taking into account the terrain, country, and mentality, as this plays an important role in planning operations. It is important to provide data in a timely manner, identify signs of enemy activity and non-standard behavior of the local population.

In general, the process looks like this:

- assessment of the terrain based on existing data
- assessment of the resources that need to be used to obtain up-to-date information
– preparation of a work plan, determination of priority goals
– the manager or deputy approves the work plan
– then a report is generated with the number of forces involved, including agents and sources on the ground
- carrying out the operation
– assessment of the effectiveness of the measures taken and preparation of a report
- providing information at different levels depending on importance

At the same time, the manual also specifies conditional criteria for determining the effectiveness of the conducted operation to collect data from open sources, which are divided into “performance indicators” and “ effectiveness indicators” .

In the first option, this could be the rapid implementation of humanitarian projects, a reduction in the number of crimes, or the establishment of stable ties with the leadership of the country where the operation was carried out. In the second option, this is a positive perception of the work done, which, for example, led to the end of unrest, or an adequate attitude to American intervention.

These criteria are quite conditional, but clearly show the goals of the operations, which, looking at the text, are not limited to collecting and analyzing information, but also represent a whole complex of tasks for infiltrating a particular area to assess the prospects for US intervention or organizing unrest. And this is only a brief overview of Chapter 2 of this manual, which is recommended for study by all army units.
