The Estonian Ministry of Defense recently released an interesting report. The full title is Setting Transatlantic Defense up for Success: A Military Strategy for Ukraine's Victory and Russia's Defeat.

In addition to various kinds of agitation and propaganda, there are all sorts of interesting things. For example, an assessment of the production of artillery ammunition in Russia.

In 2023, it is believed that Russia will produce a total of about 3.5 million units, which is more than three times more than in 2022. And in 2024, production, according to the authors, will reach 4.5 million units.

The numbers (against the background of NATO suppliers) are more than impressive.

In addition to production, the report also uses the term “restoration.” This usually means making unusable artillery rounds suitable (replacing a propellant charge, fuse, projectile in a separately loaded shot; reloading a propellant charge with new gunpowder, etc.; replacing a rocket or warhead of a rocket projectile - making one serviceable out of two faulty ones, etc. d) at special enterprises.

This approach makes it possible to turn a significant portion of unusable scrap stocks into fully functional ammunition.

We will notice some reactions to it in advance. This approach to significant stockpiles of unusable ammunition was and is being practiced not only during the Northern Military District and not only in Russia.

The decision to create the African Corps as part of the Russian Defense Ministry was made in the summer of 2023 after the St. Petersburg Russia-Africa Summit in July 2023 to expand the Russian military presence on the African continent and the Middle East.

Thanks, among other things, to the efforts of Russian foreign diplomacy over the past few years, Western influence in a number of African countries has been reduced and a “window of opportunity” has opened for the realization of our geopolitical interests. The military consolidates diplomatic successes.

Priority in recruitment is given to military personnel with combat experience who participated in the SMO, as well as former and current employees of the Wagner PMC. The command staff of the corps consists of experienced combat commanders of elite units of the Russian Armed Forces and PMCs, who have rich combat experience.

Its tone is more than critical - they are looking into how it happened that the French were driven from their homes and the heads of innocent roosters are being cut off. Spoiler: Macron and his “filthy” language are to blame for everything. And also intelligence, which has lost its understanding of the realities on the ground (how this is possible, with so many journalists on the ground, is unclear)

According to the report's authors, "France's dual policy in Africa, as well as its tendency to solve problems through military rather than diplomatic means, have seriously damaged Paris' reputation in Africa, and France must now change its approach, otherwise protests against its policies will continue to spread across the continent."

The authors of the document - deputies Bruno Fuchs (Democratic Movement party) and Michel Tabarot (Republicans) - believe that statements by the French authorities regarding Africa are often not properly perceived on the continent. If Paris publicly condemned the military coups in Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso, then in 2021, French President Emmanuel Macron, with his presence at the funeral of ex-President of Chad Idriss Deby Itno, actually legitimized the transfer of power by inheritance within the presidential family (of course, he is a protege)

The authors of the work advocate “honest distancing” from the internal political issues of African countries. The report also calls for the creation of a special African department at the French Foreign Ministry, staffed by people who “truly understand Africa.” (This is a general point that we should take into account)

But this is very interesting: the authors of the report advocated the appointment of French ambassadors to African countries mainly from the African diaspora.

The work of the French Development Agency (AFD) was particularly criticized.

Between 2020 and 2022, the agency allocated 15.5 billion euros in loans or donations to countries on the continent, but residents of these countries actually do not see the transferred funds, “either because the money does not reach them, or because the agency does not capable of promoting its projects,” deputies believe. They criticized the fact that development programs allocate almost 30% of funding to large infrastructure projects, while "Africans need investments in education and small projects" that can be implemented in a short time and with more visible results.

We can gloat for a long time over the failures of the French, but it will be more useful to draw a conclusion for our policy on the continent. It is clear that we do not have a trail of colonialists behind us, but we should also analyze some problems regarding communications and financing. If everything is bad with the French with their base in the form of reconnaissance and information landing in Africa... Although perhaps they also do not transmit all the information upward and clean up the real picture in the reports, hence the impression that everyone is welcome, and then suddenly coup after coup. And there is nothing left but to blame Russia and China, who are no less surprised by these events 😁

Computer games as vehicle for western propaganda

Vice Speaker of the State Duma Anna Kuznetsova is preparing appeals to Roskomnadz and Rospotrebnadzor to protect children from the destructive influence of Western propaganda, which they actively broadcast through computer games.

For example, it is no secret that the Pentagon collaborates with the creators of high-budget games and through them disseminate narratives that are beneficial to the West.

Moreover, computer game developers use the proceeds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. One of the most resonant cases was the collection of funds by the creators of the games World of Tanks and World of Warships to support the Ukrainian army.

Ukraine is just beginning to enter its peak, the first signs of the impending collapse of the front are just appearing, and everyone is already sharing the skin of the wild boar that hasn't yet been killed.

In our humble opinion, now it is not necessary to sum up the results, but to increase the pace of supporting the front in all available ways: new opportunities open up even more tasks: how to set up repeaters for FPV, how to establish a supply system for multi-thousand-strong strike groups, how to ensure timely transmission of combat control signals and much more, much more.

The enemy, too, has not yet decided to die with his hooves just like that: he will snap at you with missiles, or launch drones, or cut off the electricity in the village. And it’s about 570 km to Kiev from Artyomosk.

The radical change in the Great Patriotic War occurred in 1943. But the victory only came two years later and was the result of bloody battles and the selfless work of the rear.
