Decentralized Autonomous Organizations, or DAOs, have the potential to transform the way we build companies and collaborate.
• In order to create a DAO, the governing structure of the company is written into smart contracts on the blockchain, so the company can be run in a frictionless manner.
• DAOs employ a variety of tokenomic structures where the DAO’s token holders receive voting rights.
• As the token price is dependent on the DAO’s success, each contributor has extra incentive to succeed.
TON is run as a DAO, and we find this to be a natural structure that reduces bottlenecks. Moving forward, service DAOs will be needed to onboard the world onto Web 3.

Matrixport Institutional Custody Platform Partners With TON
We are happy to announce that the Matrixport blockchain platform, which includes the leading full-suite derivatives exchange Bit.com, will be partnering with The Open Network in several areas to form a strategic partnership to develop, enhance and expand the TON Ecosystem.
The platform will be utilizing its trusted security partner, Cactus Custody, to support TON's native token custody.
Bit.com listed TON in early January 2022, and will also be supporting the TON native token deposit and withdrawal on its platform.
The partners will also be exploring the possibility of adding TON on the Matrixport as well as bit.com’s savings product in the near future.

The TON Wallet extension has been updated for Google Chrome.
The TON Wallet Google Chrome extension has received an update to V3, which increases its security and privacy. (We published a post about this a little while ago.)
The developers have also fixed some bugs and introduced new improvements to the user experience in this update.
It’s important to note that other wallet extensions, such as MetaMask, have run into significant problems in their transition to a new format and, consequently, are forced to continue using older versions.
The TON Wallet extension is a convenient product where you can store your Toncoin and use decentralized applications.
However, the extension will be capable of so much more soon; it’s going to be the gateway to the decentralized Web3 internet and allow your browser to interact with TON DNS, TON Proxy, and TON Sites.
