While we’re waiting for the FNZ token to be listed on the STON.fi DEX, let’s find out what it means.

A DEX (decentralized exchange) is a platform for decentralized cryptocurrency trades and swaps.

You don’t need to send tokens from your wallet to an exchange or intermediary to make a transaction. DEXs do not store your crypto assets and do not require registration, which means you will not be affected by token deposit and/or withdrawal restrictions or blocking.

Listing a token on a DEX is an important step for any project because it creates:

1. Liquidity. Users lock their assets in pools to ensure a stable exchange rate with low volatility.

2. Availability. The token can be bought and sold freely by anyone. This means attracting traders, holders, and, of course, active users of the project’s product.

So, since the FNZ token is getting listed on the DEX, the project is about to enter a new stage of its development. If you still have questions about DEXs, ask in the comments!👇

$FNZ claiming is coming!

This Thursday investors will receive the first portion of their IDO tokens! Now we want to address the questions about the claiming process, token distribution, and trading on exchanges.

How to get Fanzee tokens?
Claiming $FNZ Tokens opens on Oct. 27 on the project’s launchpad page on Tonstarter. You will need to make a transaction of 1 Toncoin in to sign the smart contract and pay blockchain fees. Initially, investors can only claim 50% of their tokens, and the second half unlocks one month later, on Nov. 27.

What can be done with the received tokens?
$FNZ tokenholders will be able to trade tokens in November on the STON.fi decentralized exchange and centralized exchanges, which will be announced shortly.

Use cases for the $FNZ token are not limited to trading! The Fanzee project team has prepared activities for tokenholders: a marketplace, fan predictions, quizzes, collectibles, and special interactions with favorite clubs and bloggers!

❗️The Tonstarter team strongly recommends that tokenholders not trade $FNZ outside of exchanges. Anyone who transacts with tokens made through personal agreements (in private messages or through over-the-counter services) is subject to the potential risks of the parties involved in such “agreements.”

How to identify fraud in crypto

“Scam” might be the first word needed to know for crypto newcomers because it’s better to hear about these stories than to become a victim of fraud. Below are a few notes on safety in crypto and ways not to lose your assets.

1. Transaction comments
Any “giveaway” advertised in a transaction’s comment mentioning the name Durov or the TON Foundation brand is clearly a crypto scam. Projects offering giveaways always broadcast on their official social media channels and nowhere else.

2. Suspicious sites
After you’ve installed the browser extension to access your TON wallet, you instantly get access to many features, like logging in to marketplaces, managing your assets on your PC, etc. But it is important to understand the risk of connecting your wallet to untrustworthy sites and signing smart contracts on them — the risk of fraud increases instantly. Please, only use trusted sites with natural activity on social media.

3. Social engineering
You’ll never get a direct message from a “TON team member” or from an “nonpublic developer of TON” with an offer to follow a link or send them your seed phrase (the 24 words given to you when you create a wallet). Official links, announcements for community activities, and a list of team members are always placed on the project’s site or social media accounts.

4. Community
The TON community is significant in its openness to newcomers. You can find any thematic chat in Telegram and ask!

​CertiK’s audit of The Open Network

In the spring of this year, the TON Foundation embarked on an ambitious endeavor with CertiK, a highly sought-after auditing platform in the crypto industry that conducts vulnerability searches and smart contract code analyses.

A few days ago, the audit’s initial report of TON’s core (catchain), system smart contracts, and smart contracts of vesting wallets was released.

The audit confirmed TON’s bulletproof nature but uncovered some non-critical flaws, which were promptly addressed and fixed.

Part of CertiK’s audit was to learn and research a brand-new blockchain and unique programming language in FunC. Now, any project based on TON can get an audit from the platform.

Moreover, CoinMarketCap added the “Audits” tab to Toncoin’s page, where users can go to CertiK’s audit and read the report’s findings.
