St Patrick’s day is March 17th, and most people don’t know this, but the real Patrick had nothing to do with the Catholic pagan Church of Rome. In fact, Patrick was Baptist in faith and practice, and preached the same biblical gospel that we believe today.

Every word in the Bible from Paul, or Luke, or Nahum, or any other biblical author, came directly from God and is exactly what God wanted to say.

One of the biggest giveaways that someone is entirely ignorant of Scripture is when they (partially) quote James 2:19 as an attempted refutation of salvation by faith alone that the Bible teaches plainly.

James 2:19: Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

There’s no verse in the Bible that says devils are trusting in Christ alone to save them; what you have here is just the intellectual acknowledgment that there is one God. Muslims acknowledge the same thing (they obviously have a false “god”), but nobody thinks they are going to heaven because of that.

People have this false idea that certain sins will cause a loss of salvation and that’s the only option.

The Bible never once talks about a loss of salvation.

🔹In fact, it points out the smallest good deed that somebody could do would be rewarded.
🔹Disobedience to God can result in a loss of rewards, as well as earthly punishment just as a father disciplines his children for misbehaving.

Mark 9:41: "For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward."

Missing out on reward for good deeds is possible and is a serious thing.

Luke 6:35: "But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil."

Loving others isn’t part of salvation, but is for obedience which God will greatly reward us for!

😇 Biblically, every believer is a saint. The word is always used in reference to all believers. It isn’t some special status reserved for certain people.

You will be accountable to Him on the day of judgment.

Hell isn’t real because we want people to suffer. Hell is real because the Bible teaches it. Our “feelings” are irrelevant; God’s word—the Bible—is the final authority on all matters.
