Event: On September 19, the U.S. Embassy will be closed for routine services in anticipation of protests planned throughout Addis Ababa. Embassy employees are instructed to stay at home. U.S. citizens in need of emergency assistance should contact the after-hours emergency number below.

▪️Inform family and friends of your location as communications may be disrupted during this period.
▪️Monitor local media for breaking events.
